Full Name: Sean Cassidy
Alias: Banshee
First Appearance: Uncanny X-Men #28, January 1967
Height: 6'
Weight: 170
Age: late 40's
Powers/Abilities: Sean Cassidy has the mutant ability to emit a sonic scream, able to be more than enough to shatter windows, make your ears bleed, and even exert enough force to knock down a brick wall, and then some! Banshee can also use his sonics to fly and they can be so high-pitched, only those with special hearing and electronic devices can pick them up.
History:Born in his ancestral home in Cassidy Keep
in Ireland, Sean Cassidy became involved in protecting the innocent long before the eruption of mutants in the world. After joining Interpol, Sean had a face-to-face with a couple future adversaries, and threats that he had no idea could be so large. One of which was Arkady Rassovich, the man who became known as Omega Red. He also had a meeting with Magneto, though he didn't realize it at the time (as this was before the Cape Citadel incident). His wife, Maeve, died around the same time, leaving a baby daughter named Theresa to be in his care, but Sean's cousin, Thomas, took the baby and raised her by himself, emersing her in his criminal acts.
Following this, Sean set out to New York City, where he joined the police force and had an interesting run-in with Emma Frost and the man known as the Dark Beast (AoA Version of the loveable blue-furred Beast of the X-Men). Sean soon became even more involved in the affairs of other mutants, namely when he first met the X-Men. Then, he was considered a villain, since he was working with Factor Three, a mutant terrorist organization. With a bomb strapped to his head, he had no choice but to follow orders play the part of an evil mutant. Eventually, he was freed by the X-Men, only to be kidnapped again by Factor Three later, only to be freed once more by his newfound friends.
Becoming an X-Man some time later, along with several other mutants from around the globe, this new incarnation of the X-Men battled the living island known as Krakoa, freeing the original X-Men. He stayed with the team until he was injured in a battle with the mutant known as Proteus, at which point he stayed on Muir Island and met Moira MacTaggart. The two soon became involved romantically with one another. Banshee never became an official member of the X-Men after that, but did act as a sort of reserve member numerous times, including a battle against the freakish cyborgs known as the Reavers, and helping a number of Morlocks following the Mutant Massacre.
Returning to the team once more for a time, Banshee soon found himself surrounded by imposters of the X-Men, who turned out to be members of the collective race known as the Phalanx. Intent on absorbing and catalogueing the next generation of mutants, the Phalanx attacked several youngsters, which led Banshee to require the assistance of villains Sabretooth and the White Queen, though the latter was a bit more reformed at this point. The battle that ensued, leading to the death of Blink, one of the young mutants captured by the Phalanx, also led to the formation of Generation X, the next generation of X-Men. He is now one of three headmasters of the Massachusettes Academy, along with Emma Frost and her sister, Adrienne, while they train these young mutants, and run a respectable private school as well. For the most part, he's retired from the superheroics and is thought of more as a teacher and guardian.

Full Name: Adrienne Frost
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown
Powers - Psionics: Adrienne is a mutant with several unknown forms of psionic abilities. The only one that she has shown yet is the ability to see the memories of the last person to touch any object that she touches. It is unkown how recently the last touch has to be for her to use her ability. She is immune to her sister Emma's telepathic powers, and vise versa.
Background: Adrienne was able to succeed at business, inheriting it instead of earning it. She is currently the second Head Mistress of the Massachusetts Academy. When Emma needed money to keep her school going, Adrienne agreed on the condition that she became a head mistress and that the original name was returned to the building and that normal humans be allowed to attend. Her real reason for help her sister is unkown at this time.
Adrienne currently is available for RP

THE FEMALE STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL

Theresa Rourke Cassidy/Siryn
Players Name:
Age: 18
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 112 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Reddish Blonde
Powers: Sonic Generation: Siryn is a mutant who has the ability to create various sonic effects through the combined action of her vocal cords and limited psionic powers which can only be used in conjunction with the sounds she produces. She inherited these powers from her father, who has the same abilities. She has used this power for the following effects:
* Sonic Lance: By focusing her sonic vibrations into an intense beam, Siryn can shatter any known solid substance, with the exception of adamantium and vibranium. She can also use this lance at a lower intensity to stun people into unconsciousness without doing them injury.
* Flight: Siryn can use the sonic vibrations of her scream to propel herself through the air. Although it might be expected that emitting sound waves from her mouth would propel her backwards, this is not the case. Siryn's psionic abilities cause the acoustic energy to flow behind her. Siryn's psionic abilities enable her while in mid-flight to temporarily stop screaming to speak or to employ her scream to perform other sonic feats.
* Sonar: Siryn has adapted her powers to give herself a limited form of sonar.
Force Field: While using her sonic powers she creates a force field that protects her only from her own sonic vibrations and nothing else, and can only be activated when she is using her sonic scream.
Background: Theresa Rourke is the mutant daughter of Sean Cassidy, the mutant now known as the Banshee and Maeve Rourke. At the time of his marriage, Sean cassidy worked as an Interpol agent, and not long after was sent on an undercover anti-terrorist mission which kept him out of touch with his family for about a year and a half. Neither Sean nor Maeve knew at the time he left that she was pregnant. Maeve remained at Cassidy Keep, the family castle, during her pregnancy and the time immediately following Theresa's birth and so relatively few people knew of Theresa's existance.
Sometime later Maeve was killed in an IRA bombing along with a number of other people. Those who knew of Theresa's existence assumed that she too had been killed in the explosion, which had left the corpses of its many victims unrecognizable, and decided not to tell Sean Cassidy that Maeve had had a daughter in order to spare him additional grief.
Unknown to Sean, the baby Theresa had been found after the explosion by his cousin Black Tom Cassidy, who, suspecting that she might be a superhumanly powerful mutant as he and her father were, decided to raise her secretly himself. Theresa's sonic powers, inherited from her father, emerged at puberty, and a few years afterwards Black tom began enlisting her aid in committing crimes. However, Theresa's heart was never in a life of crime, and she pursued it only because the man who raised her, Black Tom, ordered her to do so.
Eventually, Theresa accompanied Black Tom and his partner, the Juggernaut, to San Francisco to assist him in crimes. Here, employing the name Siryn, she battled the original Spider-Woman and several of the X-men. this conflict ended in Black Tom's temporary capture. While in custody, Black Tom exonerated Theresa of responsibility for her crimes and wrote a letter to Sean explaining who she was. The X-Men brought Theresa back to their headquarters, where she was joyfully reunited with her father.
For a time Siryn joined the Fallen Angels, a band of young superhumans, hoping to keep them out of trouble. Later, she lived for a while at Moira MacTaggert's Mutant Research Centre at Muir Island. The Shadow King took her over, but her da saved her with the aid of the X-Men. She eventually came to join X-Force, the mutant strike team organized by Cable. As a testament to her skills, Theresa was made the deputy leader of X-Force after Cannonball graduated to the X-Men. Recently she has become romantically involved with the masked mercenary Deadpool.
Currently, Siryn has come to the Massachusetts Accademy to act as a counselor for the young mutant team Generation-X, and to be closer to her father.

Real Name: Jubilation Lee
Player's Name: Juliane Harty
Place of Birth: Beverly Hills, California
Age: 16
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 105 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black
Powers: Fireworks: Jubilee is a mutant with the superhuman ability to generate what she calls her "fireworks" energy globules that vary in degrees of power and intensity. The globules obey her mental control, traveling where she directs them, arranging themselves in balls, streamers, and other shapes, and exploding when she wishes. These combinations may result in anything from a multitude of colorful sparkles capable of temporarily blinding a person to a fairly powerful detonation, capable of smashing tree trunks or metal objects. She can absorb these "fireworks" back into her own body without harm to herself.
Background: Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee was born and raised in Beverly Hills as the daughter of two prosperous Chinese imigrants, Dr. and Mrs. Lee. She attended an exclusive Beverly Hills school where she became an extremely talented gymnast. One weekend her parents lost their money in the stock market. That same weekend two hit men mistook Dr. and Mrs. Lee for their neighbors, also named the Lees, and killed them.
Orphaned and impoverished, with nowhere to live, Jubilee was sent to the Los Angeles County Juvenile Hall. There she learned how to defend herself and became rebellious towards authority. The Juvenile Hall authorities arranged to send her to another orphanage. Fearing that she might eventually be sent to live with her only living relatives, who were in Communist China, Jubilee ran away to the Hollywood Mall. At first she survived as a petty thief, stealing whatever she needed. But one day trapped by mall security police in a dead end, in her fear and panic she unwittingly activated her superhuman powers for the first time. Globules of energy, which she would later call "fireworks", shot from her hands, exploding in front of the police, enabling her to make her escape. From then on Jubilee led a lonely life, her outwardly cynical attitude hiding her deeper fear that she could not trust anyone. She earned a living by creating "fireworks" displays for the mall customers with her newly emerged abilities.
Then one day, mall security, having failed to capture her yet again, contacted the novice mutant hunters known as the M Squad. Luckily, several female members of the X-men---Dazzler, Psylocke, Rogue, and Storm---happened to be shopping at the Hollywood Mall that day. They foiled the M Squad's attempt to capture Jubilee. Fascinated by these women, Jubilee followed them until they exited via a teleporation portal provided by the mutant aborigine Gateway back to the small town in the Australian where the X-men were then based. Before the portal closed, however, Jubilee jumped in.
She emerged in front of Gateway moments after the female X-Men had left the scene. Gateway verbally welcomed Jubilee, although he had never spoken to any of the X-Men, led her to a tunnel, and pushed her down into it. She landed in the vast underground cavern that stored the bounty of the Reavers, the criminal cyborgs who had previously been the town's sole residents.
Jubilee created a living space for herself within the cavern. Although part of her wanted to connect with the X-Men, she did not trust anyone yet, mutant or otherwise. So she kept her presence a secret, watching the X-Men from her hiding place. She became a scrounger, taking food and clothing from the X-Men while they were busy elsewhere.
She finally emerged from hiding after most of the X-Men had abandoned their Australian base and the returning Reavers had captured and crucified the X-Man Wolverine. After Wolverine succeeded in freeing himself, she helped him escape to safety. Over the following months Jubilee accompanied Wolverine in his travels through Asia. He became like a second father to her.
Jubilee finally met Professor Charles Xavier, the founder of the X-Men, when they were both captured by the alien Warskrulls. Subsequently, when the X-men reunited under Xavier's leadership, she became a full member of the team. She continued to accompany Wolverine frequently on his solo missions.
After the X-Men defeated the technoorganic Phalanx race, Xavier decided to found a new school where the various teenage mutants whom the Phalanx had captured would be trained in the uses of their superhuman powers. Hence, Husk, M, Skin, and Synch became members of a new mutant team, Generation-X. Xavier assigned Jubilee to join this new team as well, since she was in their age group. She was not happy, seeing her reassignment as a demotion.
However, Jubilee quickly became the team player in Generation X that she had been with the X-Men. Despite her characteristically cynical remarks, Jubilee came to love and trust the members of her new team as if they were her new family.

Quote:"They probably know we're coming Right? So we gotta do what they think we won't do. They know we know where they are. We know they know we know that. So since they know we know what they probably know, we know what to do." [Generation-X #65, '00]

Nicole and Claudette St. Croix The younger twin sisters of Monet St. Croix, Nicole and Claudette *were*, for quite awhile, Monet! Confused? Sure, you are! When their older sister went missing, Nicole and the autistic Claudette merged their bodies together and replicated Monet perfectly, fooling even their father. Charading as Monet, they were even enrolled in Xavier's School as Monet. When they discovered that the mute Penance was really their sister, Monet, they graciously "traded" bodies with Monet; leaving the twins in Penance's body, and Monet in her own body. Recently, the twins were freed from Penance due to an explosion, leaving Penance as its own being. Nicole and Claudette are available to RP.

Quote: Nicole:"Oh, okay. It's weird, but I don't even remember the explosion, or what exactly happened."
Claudette: "......" (Claudette's autistic)

Real Name: Monet St. Croix/M
Player's Name: Dany
Age: 16
Place of Birth: Algeria (Monet speaks French fluently)
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 125
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black
Weakness: Enters into an autistic state when going through intense concentration.
Powers: Monet possess a wide variety of superhuman powers including the following:
Superhuman strength: Capable of lifting up to 10 tons.
Flight: Through unknown means Monet is capable of flight, her maximum flight speed is yet unknown.
Telepathy
Superhumanly Acute Night Vision: Making her capable of seeing clearly even in the darkest nights.
Superhuman Intelligence
Background: Of all of the students who have attended Professor Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, the mutant girl called M is the most mysterious. Monet is a teenage Algerian who lived in Monaco and is the daughter of Cartier St. Croix, the wealthy former president of several corporations.
Monet first came in contact with many of her future classmates at Xavier's School when she, Paige, Clarice, and Angelo were captured by the alien techno-organic race known as the Phalanx. Following the defeat of the Phalanx, Professor Xavier decided to see to it that M and her fellow teenage mutant captives were instructed in the uses of their powers.
Therefore, he established a new version of his School for Gifted Youngsters at the Massachusetts Academy in Snow Valley, Massachusetts. M and her fellow students thus became the team known as Generation X.
As time passed there was a series of surprising revelations about the usually aloof M. It turned out that the silent aborigine mutant Gateway had been her mentor. It was revealed that Gen-X's most implacable enemy, Emplate, was actually her brother Marius. Oddly, she would at times go into an autistic state when she engaged in intense thought, and at other times she would shift from her usual mature, sophisticated personality into a childlike one. Since then, Monet was revealed to be really Penance, and her twin sisters traded places with her (see GenX #40).

Monet: "That was certainly a valid attempt at a rescue. Though I don't understand what you were planning to do without the use of my superior strength."
Jubilee: "Way I see it, M- if you can press that slab and pat yourself on the back at the same time...how heavy could it be?"
Monet: "Should I drop it? Then we'll find out for sure." - [From Generation X #6]

Name: Paige Guthrie/Husk
Place of Birth: Kentucky (Guthrie farm)
Age: 17
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 125
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde
Powers: Paige is a perpetual metamorph, with the ability to shred, or 'husk' off her outer skin and a new form will appear underneath. She has husked into steel, rock, Titanium, and other organic metals and other organic materials.
Quote: "Life's unfair.....with a capital UN!
History:Paige Guthrie, aka "Husk" from Cumberland County in Kentucky, was first introduced to Generation X in X-Men #36. (part 2 of the 4 part "Phalanx Covenant: Generation Next") It seemed to be a usual quiet night at the Guthrie farm until a member of the Phalanx blasted it's way through their house. The Phalanx, seeking the next generation of mutants, captured Paige's mom to lure Paige out. With Paige's futile attempts to rescue her mother, the phalanx released Mrs. Guthrie and flew off with Paige to the Phalanx base where the rest of the captured GenXers were being held. Paige, who unlike the other GenXers, loved being a mutant and is always striving to learn all she can about her powers. Here, after waking up in the base and seeing the GenXers for the first time, she immediatly assumes control and tells everyone not to worry because she knows the X-Men. This didn't go over very well with everyone but her "leadership" didn't last too long as she was infected with the Transmode Virus by the Phanlanx. This virus caused her great pain along the way to defeat the Phanlanx and it was only by Sabertooth that she got rid of it. Sabertooth "attempted" to gut her when he smelled the virus and this caused her to husk to heal herself. With that her power was revealed, the ability to shed her skin to reveal new forms underneath, hence her codename "Husk".
Husk most likely decided to join Generation X due to the fact that her older brother is Samuel Guthrie. Who's that? Samuel Guthrie was the leader of the '80's comic titled "The New Mutants", the New Mutants were the second Generation of X-Men that helped fight for Xavier's dream that mutants and humans can co-exist. Paige always received letters from Sam on his adventures and she always longed for a power that she could use. Her first appearance of her power was told in GenX #24 when she retold the story to the girls of GenX. When she was younger she kept begging to God to give her a power and she always attempted to "find out" what her power could be. (whether this was by trying to mind read a turtle or sit in a bucket of ice is my question...) The point came when she was so frustrated that she yelled out to God to give her a power right then and there. She stood shivering on the hill by her house contemplating then and when she pulled her hands away...she ended up ripping the skin off her arm with it. She was overjoyed and screamed with laughter. Now with her brother finally an X-Men, she enrolled in the Acadamy to learn more about her power and to possibly be a future leader of the X-Men.
Paige is the somewhat goody-goody of the bunch. She is always eager to learn new things, experiment with her powers, (much to Jubilee's regret) and to show everyone that she is mature and not a country hick. If it's one thing that Paige can't stand, it's to be treated like a country bumpkin who knows nothing. With that she tends to try to mask her "country accent" to make herself appear more "normal" to the gang. It's usually only when she is angry that her accent will come through and Skin usually picks up on it and makes fun. She tries to prove herself to the others because she is so insecure. The artists aren't helping too much in this matter since lately they seem to draw her more and more with freckles and in tons of overalls. (Paige would really hate that by the way) Well, so what do I mean by "somewhat goody-goody"? Paige attempts to be the mature one of the bunch but she is still a young 17 year old. She tries to show that she is smart but things tend to mess up once in awhile. For example, in GenX #1, she tries to show she is a leader by rushing at Emplate in the airport. Paige ends up having her gut ripped open by Emplate and it was Jubilee's quick thinking by husking her that let her live through it. Things like this build up in Paige and she releases her disappointment or anger in different ways that not usually are all that smart. The perfect example would be GenX #5 when being scared and upset over the threat of the legacy virus got to her. What happened? A relative issue that teens face happened....she got drunk. (sure it was only one beer but it happened) That was one of the reasons that made the book interesting to read, some real issues that teens face were shown.

ALIAS: Penance
REAL NAME: Monet St. Croix or Nicole & Claudette St. Croix
NATIONALITY: Yugoslavian (Monet), Algerian (Twins)
TEAM AFFILIATION: Generation X
AGE: 16 (Monet) 16 (twins combined)
POWER: Her body is as sharp as a diamond making her virtually untouchable. Has long, sharp tendrils for hands, feet and hair. Has no irises, only pure blue eyes. Seems to have an ability to suck the light out of the immediate area around her. In Penance form she is unable to speak.
FIRST APPEARANCE: Generation X #1 (Monet), Generation X #40 (Twins)
It was in GenX #1 that Penance had made her first appearance. Shortly after Generation X had formed their team, Gateway appeared and dropped an unconscious Penance onto the front lawn of the Acadamy. Having rarely spoken a word since he knew the X-Men, he managed to utter a single word to them, "Penance". She was then brought inside by Sean Cassidy. He discovered then just what her powers were as he cut his hands badly as he tried to pick her up. This girl's skin was a deep red tone and was completly sharp as a diamond. Her spiked hair and hands were evidence of that. This girl was a mystery to them since they knew they would not hear another word from Gateway, telling them about her. They would not hear it from her as well, throughout the events in the comic, she seemed to be mute and deaf. Placed in the infirmary, she was watched over as Sean and Emma attempted to find out who she was. It did not take long before the intelligent M brought up some thoughts of her own. She summerized that she had been a prisoner of Emplate. She looked at their hair, both had similar spiked hair. Looking at her starved, atrophied body, M stated that since Emplate supped the marrow from mutants to temporarily take their power, Penance must have been a prisoner of his for a long time to come to this state. Understanding this, Emma came to the conclusion that her strap suit was not for decoration or modesty, but for restraints. They were at a blank on who she was as Emma could not read Penance's mind, she only came up with a blank or interferance. They let her rest in the infirmary and left to see what the others were up to. Unknown to them, Penance awoke with one thought on her mind, "survival". With this she tore apart her new "cell" and broke out of the Acadamy to be free at last.
Hearing the alarms of a breach, the team rushed to the infimary and stared at the extensive damage she caused during her escape. A large storm was underway so the team split up to find her before she could cause anymore damage to the area or herself. Chamber strayed off alone, knowing that she was a kindred spirit, they both knew the pain of being trapped in a horrible body. He knew that she would somehow find her way to him, so he sat in the woods and waited. Paige and Sean shortly came across gouges in the trees as well as footprints to follow. They were unaware until it was too late that she was tracking them more than they were tracking her. Penance burrowed up from the ground which dropped Paige into an opening underground. Sean attempted to help Paige but nearly had his tounge cut off by Penance before she wounded Paige and escaped. Running next into Synch and Jubilee, she couldn't penetrate the force field that Synch placed around himself and Jubilee. Synch had copied Penance's power in an effort to escape any harm. Seeing this, Penance took off again. She then literally ran straight into M, but was only captured temporarily as Sean sonic screamed at M in order to release Penance before she did damage to anyone else. It was then that she finally ran into Chamber. He stood his ground and talked telepathically into her head, attempting to convince her that he knew how she felt being trapped. She was about to slash at his face, but his words calmed her down enough to realize what she was doing. When she was completely calmed down, she was led back to the Acadamy to start her run with Generation X.
During her stay at the Academy, she rarely stayed around the others. Her animalistic nature kept her away from the others as well as her hesitance to be captured again. All that she had been through and have now become had turned her into a timid, skittish wreck. Sean attempted to discover her native language, seeing how she never spoke to anyone, and read from language books to help her. Jubilee was especially friendly with her, often taking apples out to the biosphere to her. Jubilee spent what time she could with Penance, and this became a point of arguement in GenX #48, which I'll get to shortly. During her time at the Acadamy, she had her good times and bad like the rest of the team. In the GenX '95 Annual, Penance suffered a form of seizure while at the pool with Jubilee but soon recovered. She did eventually begin to trust her new allies and even went on a mission with them in GenX #8 to find Cassidy Keep that had disappeared. (Sounds like the biosphere doesn't it?) On a regular basis though, you could find Penance in the background panels or hiding out in the biosphere, no one really knew what she did in her spare time.
Emplate made regular attempts on reclaiming Penance, but he has always met with failure. It was not until GenX #40 that we found out what Penance was about. You see, this was the issue that Larry Hama had written and declared as the truth. He had originally taken Monet and declared that she was really two twins named Claudette and Nicole St. Croix. So what happened to the "real Monet"? In this issue, Synch had synched to the twins and finally learned the truth of the matter. The twins later retold the story they watched. Monet St. Croix really was their older sister. She did not agree with her brother's plans to conquor his alternate realms and the earth realm and for her insults and disagreement, he transformed her into the Penance form. He changed her body to a razor sharp body, took away her voice and told her that he was the only one who could help her. He changed her so badly and told her to "consider it her Penance". With that, she was told that only he could turn back his spell on her and so she was forced to follow her brother to his alternate realm and there she became his prisoner. This is what Hama had said to be the truth of Penance, that she was the "real Monet St. Croix". It has been noted by Chris Bachalo, the original creator/writer of GenX, that in no way was Penance meant to be related to the St. Croix's or even the real Monet. She was meant to be an individual.
Well, now that GenX #40 has been written, it is now a defined storyline. That's not the end of Penance though. In the same issue, GenX #40, more to the Penance saga formed. You see, after the twins told the team the truth about Monet and Penance, they felt absolutely horrible about impersonating their sister for so long. In order to make ammends, they decided to do something about it. Here the twins merged together again into their Monet form and they grabbed Penance's hand. Admist a show of light, two people emerged. One was the form of Penance, while the other was a shocked Monet St. Croix. The twins merged inside the Penance form which allowed for the real Monet to be released. The twins have now become the one's trapped inside the Penance form....until now....
Since this point, Penance has once again resumed her spot in the background. Those at Generation X still refer to the twins in that form as "Penance". Monet, now released from the Penance form has now proven that the twins couldn't make her snobby nature at all, this Monet is far worse. One of the first things that she points out is the way Jubilee treated her as Penance. In GenX #48, a big fight between the two erupts. As the fight continues, we finally see that Monet thought that Jubilee treated her as a pet while in that form. That she was like an animal, fed apples like a horse. Things have not, and probably never will get any better with these two but the team is still determined to find a way to cure the Penance state. Lately Penance has seen attention from Monet, this is very refreshing. Monet is usually an uptight snob to everyone, being in the Penance form hasn't mellowed her attitude, but she feels responsible for her sisters' state and is doing what she can to help them cope. Things may not be in the most positive light for Penance, but Generation X is determined to do all they can to help her in anyway possible.

REAL NAME: Gaia
NATIONALITY: Unknown, alien
TEAM AFFILIATION: Former member of Generation X AGE: 17+ millenia
POWER: Low level Empath with telekinetic and reality warping abilities
FIRST APPEARANCE: Generation X #37
FINAL APPEARANCE: Generation X #51
Gaia
, nothing more and nothing less....hardly. If there was a mystery to enter Generation X, Gaia is the chosen one. First introduced in Generation X #37, she departed in issue #51. That doesn't mean to say that she hasn't had an impact on Generation X and vice-versa. Gaia's first appearance was as a young looking girl with long blond hair who was chained and held captive at the Citadel of the Universal Amalgamator. M-Plate (a mutation of M and Emplate) captured Synch and took him to the other realm in order for him to synch to the mutant girl and use those powers to force them into a collective conciousness. Unknown to the GenX teens who had come to rescue Synch, Gaia herself was the one keeping the Universal Amalgamator in check. Spending the last 17 millennia changed to an altar was bound to take it's toll on anyone and Synch was right there to help her even though he put himself in grave danger doing so.
With her powers keeping the Amalgamator running, Gaia could do nothing but try to talk some sense into those around her. She tried to convince M-Plate that she wouldn't bow down. After all her entire galaxy was destroyed by corrupt people as M-Plate and she didn't bow down then, why would she stop now? Gaia even had to convince Synch to stand up to them and not synch with her powers. Both plans failed and as GenX barged onto the scene, she tore into Synch, unbelieving that he started to Synch to her powers. Taking a chance in the battle, Synch and Penance managed to free Gaia but unfortunately not before their ride out of the dimension was gone and they were trapped. Thanks to a warp under the alter they managed to escape back to Earth and fell straight onto Dorian and Weasel. Once again, being chained to an alter for an unbelievable amount of time can make one do strange things. As Dorian and Weasel began their attack on Synch, Gaia ran out into the town proclaiming her freedom. At last she was free, Penance couldn't keep up to Gaia and she escaped. An unexperienced person running around a city might not cause too much suspision, but with the powers that Gaia has and no previous human contact, it wasn't long before she was noticed.
After a brief absence from GenX, she resurfaced again in GenX #42. During a friendly game of miniature golf, a week after her disappearance, all the psi-talents were hit from a huge psi-wave that took place in X-Men #77. All psi-talents recover from blacking out but find they are without their powers! As Chamber and White Queen recover from this occurance, the team drove away from the scene they were causing by their collapse. As they are driving home trying to understand the situation, they come across a car accident. Looking a little closer Synch sees Chief Authier pulling Gaia free from the car wreck! Is it Gaia? We now see the young girl being pulled from the car has short purple hair and a strange fashion sense. As she fails to explain how she blacked out, she merely states to Authier that, "Chief Authier, you will walk away and not remember any of this.". Authier is not impressed by her failed mind-wipe and explains that he had his eye on her ever since she built her odd house a week ago. It turns out that Gaia is an extremely powerful telekinetic to be able to conjure up all of these items, but is that how she should be using her powers? Authier reveals to the GenXers that he too is a mutant and that he will not report the accident if they accept Gaia into their school so she can learn of her powers and learn of their way of life as well. It is then agreed that she could temporarily join GenX and one day possibly have the chance to officially join.
To say Gaia was quick to learn at the Acadamy would be somewhat of a mistake. Gaia followed the GenXers around and even had a team uniform to wear but she rarely participated in any of the training sessions or classes. It got to the point where the teens were questioning their teachers on it. If she wasn't skipping out on classes, you could find her either in the gym or on the steps with Jubilee taking in some of Earth's finer points...mainly the renowned "Sugar bombs" cereal. While she wasn't picking up on most of Earth's culture, speech and surroundings she still was quite intelligent. She also took a point to thank Ev for the rescue but also tried to stand back from him as he was developing a crush on her, much to Jubilee's regret. After all she is way to old for him isn't she? Really though she mostly knows where she should stand in this dimension. She doesn't force herself into situations like the others but prefers to stay back and learn bits and pieces of her new existance by herself and let her make her own mistakes. Synch explained her to a T when he said in #46, "She's over a thousand years old, and in some ways she's like a little kid.". This is true but that's the way Gaia likes it. If things are going to get in her way, she finds a way through it. Whether it's holding off intruders, dealing with the fact that her kind have been destroyed or even something as simple as using her powers to help her learn basketball, she's going to keep trying until she finds the best way to deal with her situations.

Name: Cristal Lemieux

Powers: Ability to create fire (through the right hand side of her body) and ice (through the left hand side of her body). Is is unknown if she has any other powers.
Comics appeared in: UXM 360 (I think) and XM 80
Quote: Cristal Lemieux stumbled down the aisle of the bus her black hair in it's usual lovable mop. Her green eyes glinting, hiding the cynisism that hid beneath. It was her first day at this place.
"Freak!" shouted one girl from the back.....
"Huh?" she said pivoting......
"Fu-rrr-eeek!" answered the girl emphasising her word to the greatest extent she could. Cristal lifted her index finger of her left hand. The girl watched in shock as a huge icicle formed round it at the same time as the index finger of her right hand set on fire.
"Say it again?" she said pushing her fingers dangerously close to the girls face.
"Ummmm.... n.. n.. no" the girl said.
"Au revoir!" she said with a cheery sound in her voice and a devious smile as she got off the bus and made her way to the school.
Cristal was walking up the path to the school, when she saw someone walking up to her.
"Salut!" she shouted.

Nicki O'Neil/Toxyn

Code name: Toxyn
Name:Nick and Nicki O'Neil
Occupation: Student, Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters (Generation X); former prisoner of Mr. Sinister and surrogate host for the Maurader, Malice.
Legal status: Minor, with no criminal record Place of Birth: New York City Hospital, New York, New York
Marital status: Single
Relatives: Parents are desceased, Uncle John and Aunt Martha O'Neil are the kind aunt and Uncle who took them in....
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5'7" (both forms)
Weight: 145 (Male) 125 (Female)
Age: Ranges from 14 to 18, due to shapeshifting powers
Strength: Nick and Nicki are of the same strength level of a normal teenage boy (and girl) who engages in regular, daily exercise, no matter what form they take, only Nicki being slightly more athletic in female form, being lighter than her brother....
Powers: Shapeshifting (Male to Female form) Poison control/Manipulation in both forms. Nicki's fingernails grow to about 3 inches long to administer neurotoxins through injecting them into the victim. This will cause the victim to go to sleep. The Male form, her twin brother, Nick, can shoot poison darts from his fingertips from about 100 yards away. The O'Neil twins also can merge, like the St. Croix twins, Claudette and Nicole, into a single entity. Nicki has a poisonous touch/kiss ability, which will cause the unfortunate victim to go to sleep if they kiss or touch her bare skin. This is only done in the female form...the male form does not have this capability. Both twins are immune to all poison based attacks, and Nicki in female form can draw poisons/neurotoxins out of a victim and augment them to her unstable poisonous blood. This makes her prone to be sick quite often, so she spends the days she is sick (which is about every other day) in the medlab.
History: Parents died in car crash when twins were 3. Adopted by their aunt and uncle, instilled in them the Christian values and other nescessary foundation that they needed to grow up in the loving, warm Christian environment. Then, their power manifested when Nick was chased by bullies to take his lunch money. Nicki used her latent telepathic link to guide Nick to a shop in the mall where the family were at. Then, they somehow got seperated from their aunt and uncle, hiding in a clothing store for girls. Nicki grew uneasy about this place, so Nicki interpreted it as being that Nick was uncomfortable with himself as he was, so she held his hand. She merged with her brother. At first, everything was fine, except, Nicki was inside Nick's body....when the bullies came looking for the young boy, Nicki began to change her brother into a young girl, using her body and mind. Nick felt every change in him as his hair and nails grew longer and then the rest of the body followed suit. Nick was now a young brown-haired, brown eyed girl, his sister, Nicki. Then she chose some outfits and went out, passing the bullies. They couldn't find the boy they were looking for, so the left. Nicki paid for the clothes and accesories and headed back to her aunt and uncle, and they wondered where Nick was. They took the girl home to call the police. Nicki was in her room, and then demerged, with Nick wearing the clothes Nicki bought. He was embarrassed, so Nicki remerged and took her clothing and body back from Nick, and he was back to normal. Since this, Nicki and Nick merged to form Nicki once more to join forces with Generation X.
Personality: Tends to be shy around others, but will help out when the team needs his/her assistance. Very confused about the whole male to female shifting thing, since it really messes his/her thought processes, and he/she is scared that one day, his/her secret will be revealed and would be kidnapped and sent to a freak show. As the boy/girl shifter, perhaps forced to use his/her powers to become half boy and half girl, which is not what Nick/Nicki want to end up as. They are very loyal. Nicki may end up a little boy-crazy at times, but she chooses not to get into a relationship now, in either form.

Clarice Fergunson/Blink
Player's Name: Blink
When Paige Guthrie awakes in Phalanx Captivity at the start of Uncanny X-Men #317, she finds herself in the company of the future core members of Generation X, and a shy, quiet girl named Clarice. During their captivity, Clarice begins to look up to Paige due to her confident assertions that the X-Men will come to rescue them, and she is greatly worried about the infection of Paige's outer "husk" with the Techno-Organic Virus. When their captor the Phalanx Harvest arrives to torment them, Clarice is willing to use her power to end his reign of tyranny. A caption states that the first time Blink used her power, she woke up in a pool of blood, and swore never again to use her powers against a living being, though we have never heard anything else about the circumstances of this event. Blink's power is first shown here cutting Harvest into pieces by sending the other parts somewhere else. Clarice is stopped from doing serious damage to him by the Phalanx plant "Gregor", and subsequentally escapes with the rest of the kids.
The last part of the crossover, X-Men #37, opens with Clarice being engulfed by the Phalanx. With encouragement from her teammates, she is able to disrupt her captors and break free. Using her powers causes her eyes to glow, and is stated to bathe her body in a warm glow. Blink's power levels are defined more clearly when it becomes clear that if Harvest is not stopped permantly, he will return and kill more people. First, she uses precision slicing to remove a chunk of deck under her friends, thus dropping them into the water, and leaving them safe. She then displaces the entire battleship, including Harvest and unfortunatly herself. It is to be noted that, because Blink displaces objects rather than destroying them outright, the battleship should have wound up SOMEWHERE. While this leaves a possibility for Blink to return, it also might leave her in custody of the Phalanx Harvest...Clarice has returned to Generation X and is dating Chris Johnson/Dupe. Blink is born with lavendar skin, pointy ears, and strange markings on her face.

personality: curious, always asking questions, brave, daring, and doesn't back down from any challenge or bet.

Illyana Rasputin/Magik
Illyana
possessed the mutant power to teleport through space and time. She first developed her power in Limbo. Limbo contained many, apparently naturally-occuring, light circles that would randomly teleport a person who stepped on them. Illyana discovered that she was able to summon and control these light circles, or "stepping disks" as Kitty called them.
Illyana's power was, for some reason, linked to Limbo. When teleporting to and from locations on Earth, Illyana had to summon a stepping disk and teleport to Limbo first, then summon another disk to teleport from Limbo to her earthly destination.
When Illyana first returned to Earth, her control over her stepping disks was dodgy at best. Often, she would teleport to a destination only to find that she had missed her target in space (appearing some distance from where she meant to go) or, more often, time (arriving years before or after her target time period). As a result, Illyana generally refrained from using her mutant power unless an emergency required it.

Name: Janna "Fate" Harris
Age:16
Looks: 5'10'' 127lbs. brown hair up to her shoulders. Deep hazel eyes.
D.O.B. : Oct. 31 1984
Parents: Karen, her Mother, is an alcholic who is abusive and her Father left when she was four. (lots of half brothers and sisters. All of which where gone by the time she was born.)

History: Her Mother likes to hit the bottle, so Janna was forced to take care of herself. She was beat up everyday at school and home, so she spend a lot of time on the streets. When she was 13, she found out she was a mutant. Not a great thing to her. She would use it to kill people and others like herself, for evil mutants, like Mr. Sinister. She was put in the hall and was awaiting trial. She was rescued by Emma and helped find out where Synch, Gaia, and Mondo were with her powers. At that time her powers started to fulling kick in. They have, and she's tring to hide it from everyone. The reason is because with proper training she could end up as powerful or even more powerful then Emma. She is scared of what she will do if that happens. Currently somewhere at the school.

THE MALE STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL

Full Name: Thomas Jason Logan
Alias Name: Raptor
Age: 18
Height: 5'9
Weight: a muscular 200 lbs
Eyes: Green
Hair: Dark Brown
Powers: Enhanced Senses, Healing Factor, Controllable Levels of Adrenalin (To enhance Strength and Speed, enters "Adrenalin Rage" when these levels are maxed out). Note: Pain Receptors shut off when raised to Pre-Rage levels, numbing the effects of all wounds inflicted in combat. Fights with blades formed of organic adamantium.
If the name seems familiar, it should be. Tommy happens to be the son of the X-Man Wolverine. Given up for adoption at birth, he spent his life moving from foster home to foster home until the age of 12 when he ran away on a motorcycle his foster parents at the time had given him for his birthday. Tommy became a drifter, searching for his biological mother and father. At the age of 17, he was found by Sean Cassidy and recruited into Generation X. His first night at the Academy, however he escaped, riding away. But while on the highway, something crashed his bike. He awoke to find himself in a lab of some kind, being experimented on by a man who introduced himself as "Mr. Sinister." Sinister's plan for the young Logan was to make him a Marauder. Before doing so, he fused Tommy with a symbiotic organism made of living adamantium. Such a procedure would kill any normal man, but Tommy's healing factor compensated for the unbearable pain.
Unfortunately, Mr. Sinister never counted on Tommy ever having controllable Adrenalin Levels (neither did he at the time. He was only aware of his healing factor and enhanced senses back then). The stress and pain sent Tommy into his first Adrenalin Rage, which he used to escape Sinister's lair. Afterward, he was brought back into Generation-X where he took the name "Raptor." During his first stay, he quickly stood out as being both abrasive and deadly. Naturally precocious, Tommy was able to decently control his powers which, among other things allowed him to beat up Emplate and take out several of Mr. Sinister's Marauders. Tommy made several mistakes as well, including accidentally killing a young student who had recently turned on the Marauders named Mourn.
In the stress of this recent tragedy, Sinister struck, sending Quarrel, who hit Tommy with a negative energy arrow as Skin was making fun of him and Husk, who Tommy was seeing at the time. Tommy attacked Skin, nearly gutting him with his organic blades. He felt immense guilt after the attack and even healed Skin via a blood transfusion (with his Healing Factor). His trust from his classmates destroyed, Tommy could not stay and was expelled.
For eight months afterward, Tommy searched for his mother (he had already been re-united with his father Wolverine), all to dead ends. He eventually settled in New York where he became the latest in a long list of vigilante crimefighters. Spider-Man took Raptor under his wing (or should that be web?) And taught him much about the city and fighting supervillains. Which he did, earning quite a reputation in New York.
Then, the past came calling. One day after teaming up with Spidey to defeat Rhino, Sean Cassidy and Jubilee came calling. Several members of their team had been captured by the Friends of Humanity and they needed him to help them. Tommy reluctantly agreed, still feeling guilty about what happened eight months earlier. He helped them defeat the FoH and was somehow convinced to rejoin Gen-X. During his eight months in exile from the school and under Spider-Man's mentorship, Tommy had mastered his abilities, which allowed him to play a key role in a Sentinel Attack of the school. He then went with the rest of the team to Mr. Sinister's lab to rescue Chamber. This mission, thanks in large part to Tommy, was also a success. He helped them defeat Sinister's new band of Marauders...but he did not return to the school with the rest. While rampaging through Sinister's lair in an attempt to find Sinister (and thoroughly managing to trash the place in the process) Tommy came upon Sinister's newest and deadliest Marauder...An evil clone of himself.
While much more mellowed out and grown up since his first tenure in Generation X, Tommy still has demons haunting him. The whereabouts of his mother (which Sinister knows, and part of the reason behind Tommy's personal vendetta against him), the death of Mourn hanging over his head, the mistrust of his classmates...the fact that he has feelings for one of his teammates, his vendetta against Sinister all obsess him. Tommy would be considered the "enigma" of the bunch. While not entirely unstable, he is still very emotional. He is not as quick to anger as he used to be (thanks to Spider-Man's guidance) but he is still an emotional roller coaster. He'll stay to himself most of the time, but if you manage to gain his friendship, he'll pour his heart out to you. Haunted by his past, uncertain of his future, Tommy knows that the rest of the team won't entirely trust him, but he'll lay down his life for every single one of them just the same.
Quote: "Well next time a deranged sociopathic symbiote goes on a homocidal rampage right in the middle of the most densely populated city in the entire country I'll ask you for permission to stop him IF it's not too inconvenient for you."

Everett Thomas/Synch
ALIAS: Synch
REAL NAME: Everett Thomas
NATIONALITY: U.S.A St.Louis, MO.
TEAM AFFILIATION: Generation X
AGE: 16
POWER: Synchronicity. The ability to synch his mutagenetic rainbow aura to the mutants near him, thus giving him the ability to use their powers for a limited time.
FIRST APPEARANCE: X-men #36
Sixteen Year old Everett Thomas, aka "Synch", was first introduced to Generation X in X-Men #36. (part 1 of the 4 part "Phalanx Covenant") Synch had accidently synched to Banshee who was in the area and had blown apart all the windows in his area with Banshee's "borrowed" scream. Upon himself and other teenagers being attacked by various phalanx, he teamed up with Banshee to destroy the phanlanx and rescue the young mutants who later formed Generation X. Synch decided to join the GenX team so he could learn to control his powers. His power is "synchroniclty" this enables him to alter his mutagenetic aura according to the mutants near him for a limited time. An example would be the ability to synch with Skin so he that he could be able to stretch his skin. Synch is at the acadamy to learn the proper use of his powers and to extend them, at the moment he can only posess someone's power for a small amount of time.
Synch's home in St. Louis, Mo. is a model family. He is the sole child with the exception that his parents are foster parents. With this caring family, Everett was well raised and is a calm person who is quite level headed. This has made him more of a background character in GenX than some of the more spontaneous, outrageous characters such as Jubilee or Skin. He may have been placed as a background character in the beginning, but as of the recent issues, Ev has been close to the center of attraction. (The triangle between the St. Croix twins, M and Jubilee is keeping him on his toes) Within the latest issues he has come to be the unlucky charm. Upon the explosion in issue #32, he believes that when he synched to Monet's powers, that he caused her to split into the twins. He confided in Jubilee, who he has a crush on, about his problems. He continually felt this burden until the latest issues revolving around "Monet". Synch had been captured by "Mplate", a combination of the Monet twins and their brother Emplate, in order for them to use his powers with Gaia the guardian at the "Universal Almagamator" citadel. (this is GenX #39 mind you) Since Gaia wouldn't cooperate with their scheme, they kidnapped Everett to synch to Gaia's powers so he will control the Amalgamator and use it so Mplate could meld the world into one consiousness.
Everett resisted as best he could but with his good nature, he couldn't bear to see his friends be harmed and had actually began to Synch to Gaia's power before GenX defeated Mplate. Upon Gaia's outraged reaction to him synching to her powers, he once again felt the burden of doing things the wrong way. (or so he thinks it's the wrong way) With Chamber's power accidentally causing the citadel to begin to self destruct, Synch being the nice guy that he is couldn't just run away leaving Gaia chained to the building. Going against Banshee's commands he wouldn't give up on Gaia's industructable chains. It got to the point that Banshee had to punch him out! Synch wasn't going to fail again, he recovered, synched to Banshee and took off back to the crumbling citadel. Penance followed quickly to help him cut the chains and they were free to escape through the warp chamber that led to the local diner. They crashed through into two local goons who really can't stand the GenXers. Gaia ran off with Penance giving chase in order to stop her..... this leaves Synch with the two goons. Synch once again becomes the unlucky charm as the goons realize that he's from the acadamy, they decide a sucker punch to the gut is in order. As said before, Synch came to GenX to improve his powers... these goons aren't mutants so there is nothing to synch to, and two against one with a sucker punch is not good odds. The goons pounded Synch and with him barely conscious they put him in the trunk of their car to dispose of him. That leaves us back to the GenXers who are driving in their jeep to rescue Penny and Ev......the problem is that they found him! They pull over to the side of the road when they see a body in the road. At the end of GenX #39, we see a splash page showing a bloody and bruised Synch lying in the road, struggling for help.

Angelo Espinoza/Skin
E-Mail: Timothy Harrison
Name: Skin
Real Name: Angelo Espinosa
Age: 15
Place of Origin: South Central L.A.
First Appearance: The Uncanny X-Men #317
Powers:The ability to control his own skin, which he has, roughly, six extra feet of.
Background: Angelo was kidnapped by the Phalanx, who couldn't absorb him because he was a mutant. Since he has a lot of spare skin, his appearance is not quite normal, but he can control it (under concentration). When relaxed, his skin is gray.
Lately, some mysterious past has been hinted at for him, perhaps having something to do with illegal activities. Something weird is going down back at his home town in L.A. People think that he is dead, and that's how he likes it. Hopefully, they will get more in depth with his shakey background in the near future. Although we do now know that Angelo has a cousin living in East L.A., by the name of Gil, who seems to be the only relative that knows he is alive right now. He was also recently attacked by the girl Tores. She was working for that baddie Bastion but was betrayed when the Prime Sentinals attacked and left Gil's house in ruins, along with his vast supply of Sugar Bombs *sniff*.

Jonothon Starsmore/Chamber
Real Name: Jonothan Evan Starsmore
Alias/Nickname: Jono, Jon, Sparky
Age: 18
Nationality: British
Powers/Abilities: Bio-Blast, psionic speech (full extent of psi-powers unknown), does not require food or oxygen.
Editorial comment: Although his bio-blast is a weapon in and of itself, it (may) be used to power a flight pack which Forge was going to build. Eventually. (Read: Don't hold your breath.)
Affiliation: Generation X (Read: Baby X-Men)
Base of Operations: the Massachusetts Academy (a division of the Xavier Institue)
Confidents/Allies: Angelo Espinosa, Gayle Edgerton (formerly, possibly reconciled)
Greatest Enemies: Emplate,(Gayle Edgerton), Omega Red, Onslaught, (Bastion)
Romantic Interests: Gayle Edgerton (former), Paige Guthrie (future? or former?)
Chamber is most known for the gaping hole in in his chest, the result of his mutant ability: a devastating psionic bio-blast which levels most opponents. This ability scarred him for life when, the first time it manifested itself, he lost his upper chest and lower face. As a result, he no longer requires food or oxygen and communicates through psi-speech. He may or may not have accidentally paralyzed his girlfriend, Gayle Edgerton (NOT a mutant), who later teamed up with the villain Emplate for revenge (see issue summaries for details). As revealed definitively in issue 20, Chamber has the potential to be extremely powerful: he is almost pure psionic energy. However, because of the nature of this awesome power, he has extremely low self-esteem, despite his natural leadership abilities. The relationship between him and his teammate, Paige Guthrie ("Husk") has been hampered significantly because of this (see Chamber & Husk section). Chamber for a time seemed to be coming out of his shell and rebuilding his life, especially in terms of his relationship with Angelo Espinosa (a.k.a. Skin). For a time the two of them were off sharing adventures seperately from the rest of the team. However, since his return he has interacted little with his teammates, and the little interaction he has had has resulted in ailenating Husk, not bringing them closer.
Another teammate with whom he as a special relationship is the mysterious Penance, whose diamond-hard, razor-sharp skin makes her the other 'monster' of the group. Although she has yet to say a word to anyone, and her behavoir is rather animal-like, Chamber understands her situation and seems to genuinely care about her. He often spends time alone with her.

Artie and Leech

Name: Artie
Real Name: Arthur 'Artie' Maddicks
Age: Um, I'll guess at this one. Probably around 12.
Place of Origin: ??? - I have no clue.
First Appearance: X-Factor #2
Powers: Create holograms with his mind. Kind of a picto-telepath.
Background: Artie was son to a brilliant genetic scientist. Born a normal kid, his mutation triggered being still very young, and his look changed to a weird pink-skinned thing. Then, he stopped talking and could only be understood using his power of projecting images of his thoughts. At first, they were not very precise, but he keeps improving.
From that moment, his father's only target was to revert the mutation of the kid, and so he called his partner, Hank McCoy, an authority in mutations, fooling him to use him as subject of the experiment he was developing. That experiment reverted Hank to his older look : a beast of blue fur, but almost killed him. Then, Carl got murdered and Hank took the child to X-Factor headquarters, were he met his best friend, Leech.

Name: Leech
Real Name: Uh, Leech.
Age: Probably around 12.
Place of Origin: Unknown place of birth but most of his life was spent in the Morlock tunnels.
First Appearance: The Uncanny X-Men #196 Powers: The ability to dampen, or cancel out, another mutants powers close by him.
Background: Leech was born mutant with the powers of inhibiting the powers of other mutants next to him. If he always had the same appearance that he's now or was changed , according to the custom, by Masque, it's unknown, but his nickname reflexes his appearance.
Leech seemed to live with the morlocks in the tunnels under Manhattan since he was a baby, but few is known of him until he was taken to X-Factor headquarters, after the mutant massacre conducted by Mr. Sinister and the Marauders, taking part in some fights between morlocks and X-Men before, used to stole their powers, like he once did to Storm while she was flying through the tunnels. The first time he was saw by an x-man was while Callisto was trying to marry Kitty Pryde to Caliban and she escaped. Leech was the one who find her and brought her back to safety (remember, the sewer is not a nice place to visit), avoiding her using her phase powers.
As he lived in X-Factor headquarters, he met his best friend, Artie Maddicks, who was a kid like him. They, like Skids, Rictor, Boom Boom, and Rusty Collins, were sent to a private school to keep them safe, but then, Inferno began, and the demon N'Ashtir tried to kidnap them to conduit a sacrifice and open a giant gate to Limbo. Their being mutants was what the demon really needed.
However, with some help from one of their companions who was mutant as well, Taki, they escaped and joined the rest to fight the hordes of demons. As the situation returned to normal (whatever it is) , both went back to the school were they got kidnapped some time later by the Gene-Nation, a group of former morlocks ruled by the Dark Beast (courtesy of AoA) who was willing to control the world and killing as many humans as possible. Leech was used to capture Emma Frost, not letting her use her powers, but as part of Generation X came to take her out, she kicked Leech down and vanquished easily her foes. Leech and his best friend, Artie, were then taken to the Massachussetts Academy and made friends with Synch and Skin, who made a house on a tree in the grotto for them to play. Awwwww.

Name: Mondo
Real Name: Unknown
Age: 19
Place of Origin: Samoa
First Appearance: Generation X #4
Powers:Mondo absorbs living mass into himself and becomes whatever he's absorbed until he digests it. A great example of his power is portrayed throughout Generation Next (what GenX reverted to during the Age of Apocalypse storyline).
Background: Born is Samoa, Mondo is used to enjoying life as it comes, lying happily in the sun to watch the twilight. As he made friends with Cordelia Frost (sister to Emma), she discovered his powers (not that he's much afraid of showing them, anyway) and decided to deliver him as a gift to the Hellfire Club, in an attempt to assume her sister's former role as White Queen of the Inner Circle. However, he got rescued by Generation X and joined the team.
In the words of Banshee : "He's exactly what the team needed. Mondo is unshakable in his resolve not to worry and simply be happy. I almost expect him in battle to pick the villain up, dust him off, and give him a fair chance to catch his breath."

Name: Christopher Lee Johnson(Goes by Chris)
Age: 17
B-Day: April 22
Sign: Taurus
X-factor classification: Altered Mutant, External-type.
Eyes: Black w/ cobalt blue center(Previously Cobalt blue)
Hair: Emerald Green(Previously Dishwater Blonde)
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 259 lbs
Build: Muscular streamline
Appearance: Almost always casual, jeans/T kinda guy. Hates to dress up. Long Hair, down to the center of his rib cage. Pale off-white to ash-grey complexion.
Noted effects of the Alteration as according to his physician, Dr. Henry McCoy: Black furred extension of tailbone approximately 1.5 feet in length(a tail, like that of a panther) capable of minor articulate movement, most movement involuntarily triggered by mood, the extension is concealable. Loss of Sanguine skin pigmentation, and Darkening of the eye's outer wall. No other changes noted.
Brief Mutant History: Manifesting at the age of 14, Chris was first brought to the Xavier School in Westchester for testing and Cerebro Identification and classification under the observation of Professor Charles Xavier and more-so by Dr. Henry McCoy. Discovering that in first his mutant ability was hereditary, and that it carried an expanded lifespan with it, troubled him, having Dr. McCoy and Prof. Xavier NEVER to let it be known publicly. After spending two years as a misfit and would-be hero under the duress of his father's shared vision with the Professor, Chris was shortly after shipped to the Massachusetts Academy, with supplemental control of his powers already rather well cemented. Chris has attended the Academy for one full year and occasionally shown two methods of behavior rather frequently, a persisting infatuation with Clarice Ferguson (Blink), and a wanton leave of absence from the school when he is able, to explore various areas on his own, though he often offers an invite to the other students.
Mutant Abilities:
Primary: Genetic Sensory/Duplication/Minor Transference
Lay men's terms: He can 'sense' people by their genetic signature, much like Cerebro but at a range of only up to 5 miles, 10 miles but at a loss of constitution or stamina. He is then capable of duplicating particular genes into himself or into others, most often related to X-factor or mutancy.
His current Duplication hold capacity within safe ranges is no more than 5 of moderate size.
Secondary Abilities:
-Regeneration
-Major Temperature control(up to 100ft radius, +/- up to 100 degrees safely)
-Flight(max spd. Mock1.6)
-Strength(max bench 4 metric tons)
Strengths: Creativity, Determination, Ingenuity
Weaknesses: Often Unsure, Sentimentality, Overly-devoted
Chris recently lost his twin-sister, Sarah, and now, he is comforting himself with Illyana Rasputin/Magik.

Name: Japeth (last name unknown)
First Appearance: Uncanny X-Men #345
Powers/Abilities: Maggott's entire digestive system is made up of two giant, uh, slugs. The maggots themselves are the real powers, as they can conceivably consume anything (they once ate a bomb, which was nice). Maggott is dependent on these two critters, whom he has named Eenie and Meanie, and they must return back to his digestive system, otherwise he will die, and they will as well, most likely. Once they return to him, Maggott gains enhanced strength as they release energy into his system. Pretty freakin' weird, huh?
History: As a young boy living in poverty in South Africa, Japeth was loved by his family, but he felt like a burden when he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He knew that his family was struggling as it was, and giving him proper treatment would only complicate things further, so he sought out to do the only thing he believed was right, which was to kill himself. He ventured into the desert, and his little brother tagged along, unbeknownst to Japeth. There, they were on the verge of dying from the heat and lack of fluids, until Magneto appeared and saved the two. It was revealed here that Japeth didn't have cancer, but was a mutant, and his digestive system was what was ailing him, because that was the source of his mutant powers. Magneto wanted him Maggott to join his cause, but Japeth wasn't interested after he saw Magneto slaughter people.
The full story following this is mostly unrevealed, however, but Maggott did seek out the clone of Magneto, called Joseph, under Magneto's directions. Maggott eventually joined the X-Men instead of bringing harm to them and Joseph, but he didn't stay for long. For an even shorter time, he was with Generation X, upon Beast's suggestion, believing that being at the Academy would help him control his mutant powers even better, and this way he could stay with people closer to his age. Maggott gave it a shot, but still felt it wasn't right for him. Where he has ventured off to now is anyone's guess.
