Ash to Ash, we all burn down!!!

“Thunder Bolt!” I yelled. Jolteon leaped into the air and threw out a stupendous thunder bolt! The thunder bolt hit the little rattata and it fainted. “Good job!” I said to Jolteon. I was in the woods behind our shack training my Jolteon on weaker things. “Mandy?” a voice called. It was coming from the bushes behind me. I turned to find James jogging up to me. “I’ve been looking all over for you! What are you doing?” James asked. “I’ve been back here for a while. I’m training my Jolteon on some weaker opponents so he’ll become stronger.” I said. “Cool. Hey, can I help?” He asked. I nodded my head and said “sure”. “Cool. I’ll battle you using my pokemon.” He said. Then he took off a pokeball and threw it. His Weezing flew out and in front of James. I pointed my finger and Jolteon simply leaped out in front of me. “Just because you’re my friend doesn’t mean I’m going easy on you! My Weezing will show your Jolteon who’s top pokemon! Go Weezing, use your sludge attack!” he ordered. Weezing floated over to Jolteon and released a huge blob of sludge. Jolteon quickly leaped into the air and dodged the blow easily. He did a flip over Weezing and landed on all fours. “Sorry, but Jolteon is too fast for your Weezing. Use your pin missile!” I yelled. Jolteon leaped back into the air and threw out thousands of tinny pins. Each pin hit Weezing and he squinted in pain. “Now, while it’s hurt. Use your thunder bolt!” I yelled. Jolteon landed on his feet and quickly used a thunder bolt on Weezing. Weezing fainted quickly. James returned Weezing and quickly threw out Victreebel. Victreebel stood there looking completely bored. “Jolteon, use pin missile!” I ordered. Jolteon. once again, used pin missile. Victreebel screeched but quickly fainted. James, looking completely embarrassed about losing, returned Victreebel. “Almost all of yours are poison so there going to get beat down by pin missile.” I said. “That may be so but I have one left. It may be weak against yours, but I have confidence it will get further than Weezing and Victreebel.” He said. He tossed out his last one and Vaporeon leaped out. “Be careful Jolteon! Vaporeon may be water but it has a really high HP. It might take a couple of thunder bolts to take it out.” I said. Jolteon nodded its head and said “jolt!”. “Vaporeon, Jolteon is really fast so be ready for some fast hits!” James said. Vaporeon nodded and said “pore!”. I waved my hand forward and yelled “Go! Weaken it with your thunder attack!”. Jolteon leaped over Vaporeon and a huge thunder cloud hovered over us. A thunder bolt flew down and smacked into Vaporeon. “VAPORE!” He yelled in pain. Vaporeon fell and fainted! “What?” I yelled. Jolteon landed and looked as confused as me. James ran over to Vaporeon a gave it a potion. Vaporeon stood up and shook his head. “I thought one thunder bolt wouldn’t take him out!” James said. “It shouldn’t have! Your Vaporeon could use some training though! Maybe it’s because he hasn’t been in enough battles. I’ll help you train it!” I said. “Okay.” James answered. I returned Jolteon and threw another pokeball. Charizard flew out and slammed into the ground before Vaporeon. Vaporeon jumped and leaped behind James leg. “Vaporeon! You can’t be a whip and back out!” James yelled. Charizard smiled and stomped on the ground so it shook. Vaporeon started to cry. James stepped behind Vaporeon and pushed him forward. “I need you to battle for me! So give it your all!” He said. Vaporeon walked up to Charizard shaking. “Charizard is weak against Vaporeon. I would ask him to go easy on your Vaporeon but he doesn’t want to go down without a real battle so your Vaporeon has to do this all by himself!” I said. “Vaporeon, use your ice beam!” James ordered. Vaporeon released an ice beam and it hit charizard. Charizard was in pain for a couple seconds but he moved his tail flame in front of the ice beam. The ice melted and stopped hitting Charizard. “Use your slash attack!” I ordered. Charizard flew into the air and went for Vaporeon. “Now! Water gun!” James ordered. Vaporeon water gunned charizard before his attack hit. Charizard roared and fainted. I returned him and then threw out another pokeball. Arbok slithered out and into the battle. “Arbok glare!” I ordered. Arboks eyes glowed blue. Vaporeon just turned his head and the glare missed. “Blizzard!” James ordered. The blizzard hit arbok. Before Arbok could do anything he was frozen solid. “Great job!” James yelled. I returned Arbok and threw one last pokeball. Draco came out and roared loudly. Vaporeon suddenly looked unsure about battling. “Don’t give up!” James yelled. I thought about my little plan. I concentrated and started to talk to Draco telepathically. “Ice beam.” James ordered. Vaporeon released an ice beam and hit Draco. Draco roared and fell. “YEAH!” James yelled. Vaporeon turned and leaped into his arms. “Your the best!” James said. I walked over and started petting Dracos head. James returned Vaporeon and walked over to me. “I forgot to tell you why I was looking for you. The boss called. He wants us to go to the safari zone on a mission. Were leaving some what soon.” He said. “Okay.” I said. He noticed I was petting Draco and asked “Are you okay about me beating you?”. “Yeah, I’m going to stay with Draco a little bit. Go on ahead with out me.” I said. He nodded and ran off through the woods. As soon as he was gone Draco reared back up, unharmed. “Good job! He wouldn’t of known ice beam doesn’t hurt you. You did a great act though. You almost looked really fainted. His Vaporeon has more confidence and will battle better now.” I said. I returned Draco and ran all the way back to our shack. When I arrived Persian ran out to great me. “Were leaving soon!” He said. “I know!” I answered. As soon as I started to talk, Ninetales ran from the shacks door. He leaped up on me and licked me like a loyal dog happy to see its master. I petted him and calmed him down. Ninetales followed me though. I took off his pokeball and decided it was better if I just returned him. Jesse walked out and said “Time to go. The boss will be mad at us.” I agreed and took off Lugia and Dragonite. We flew to the safari zone on Lugia and Dragonite. When we arrived we walked for a while. “I think he said that there was a heard of good looking Kangaskhan.” Jesse said. “There!” James said. He pointed out towards the field. Far away was a large heard of Kangaskhan. “This looks familiar!” A voice said. I turned to see the one and only Rachel behind me. Since we were in the future she looked a little older than me. “What are you doing here?” I asked. “I was going to go after that heard of Kangaskhan.” she said. “Those are our Kangaskhan!” Jesse snapped. “Go ahead and have them. I’ve already caught a whole heard of Tauros using only my Ninetales.” She said. “I can do better! I’ll show you!” I said. I threw a pokeball and Ninetales jumped out. “Ninetales, surround those Kangaskhan with your fire spin!” I ordered. Ninetales released a fire spin that surrounded the Kangaskhan. The Kangaskhan ignored it. “Don’t use your Ninetales! It isn’t at a high enough level so the Kangaskhan won’t be hurt much.” James said. “I’ll help you.” Rachel said. “No! I want to capture them by myself!” I said. I returned Ninetales and threw another pokeball. Arbok came out and hissed. “What is that going to do?” Rachel asked. “You’ll see! Ready guys?” I asked Jesse and James. They nodded. “Arbok use your screech attack to have the Kangaskhan look this way!” I ordered. Arbok used screech. The Kangaskhan turned. Some covered their ears trying to get away from the noise. While they were looking this way I ordered Arbok to use Glare. Arbok glared the Kangaskhan and they were all paralyzed. “Now!” I yelled. Jesse took out the gun we prepared just for this. She aimed and fired it. Dozens of Pokeballs flew out and captured each Kangaskhan. “Impressive that only your little Arbok captured them! It was smart to use screech, then glare.” Rachel said. “Thanks...I think” I said. “Lets have a battle!” Rachel said. “Okay.” I said. “Go Ninetales!” she yelled. Ninetales leaped from her side. “I’ll fight fire with fire!” I said. I tossed a pokeball and my Ninetales came out. I noticed how much bigger hers was than mine. “Use your confuse ray!” I ordered. My Ninetales stared closely at hers and his eyes started to glow. Rachel’s Ninetales suddenly dove into the ground. My Ninetales looked around blankly. Out of the ground, Rachel’s Ninetales jumped out and hit mine. My Ninetales fell and fainted. “You shouldn’t of used yours! It’s at a lower level!” James said. “I know! I was just hopping he’d gain some experience!” I said and returned him. I tossed another pokeball and Draco came out. “Gyrados huh! Return Ninetales!” Rachel said. Ninetales leaped back to her side. She threw another pokeball and it busted open. What came out took my breath away! “MEWTWO?” Jesse, James, and I all yelled. “Yup! thunder bolt!” She ordered. The Mewtwo used thunder bolt and my Draco fainted. I returned Draco and walked up to her. “How did you get Mewtwo?” I asked. “Didn’t you know? A scientist found Mewtwo and captured him with some invincible pokeball called the Master ball. They studied Mewtwo and cloned him. They released the clones and they breaded in the wild. Now Mewtwos are common among the world.” she said. “But what about the REAL Mewtwo?” I asked. “I think they still have Mewtwo inside the lab. I don’t know if he’s alive, though. All I know is that the new Mewtwos are a WHOLE lot weaker than the real one.” She said. She took off a pokeball and returned Mewtwo. “Why did you return him?” I asked. “Look behind you and you’ll see why!” she said and started to run. We turned and driving towards us was a van. Driving it was Officer Jenny. “Let’s go!” Yelled Meowth. I took off two Pokeballs and threw them. Lugia and Dragonite flew out. James and I jumped on Dragonite. Jesse, Meowth, and Persian leaped upon Lugia. Dragonite and Lugia flew to the air. I saw Rachel down below riding her Tauros. “Next time we battle I won’t lose!” I yelled. She looked up, but didn’t say anything. Office Jenny stopped the van and got out. All I heard was a loud gun shot! Dragonite yelled and started to fall. Then I noticed Jenny Shot Dragonite in the wing and we were falling. James and I screamed on the way down. Dragonite crashed into the ground and banged up against a tree. James and I got off. Dragonite wailed from the pain. I took off a pokeball and returned him. “I have to get Dragonite some where to heal his wing.” I said. “Look! Were lost in a jungle!” James said. I looked around. We were totally surrounded trees. Then I noticed a wooden sign attached to a tree. “Were still in the Safari Zone. It says beware of large Pokemon. Testing is taking place. It also says they made clones of pokemon except their 8 times their natural size!” I said. “we have to find a way out!” James said. “I would transform, but if I do those pokemon can easily track us down. I think it’s better if we stick to the woods.” I said. He agreed and we started to walk. After about an hour of walking we started getting tired. “My feet hurt! I haven’t seen any large pokemon! Can’t you just transform?” James whined. “I’m too tired to now!” I said. “Can we rest?” He asked. I nodded and we both sat down. Suddenly a loud boom shook the ground. I shot up. “James, was that you?” I asked. “It was loud, but it wasn’t my stomach!” He said. We both stood up and started to run. A loud roar filled the sky like thunder. While we were running the trees in front of us started to disappear! We stopped. Standing in front of us was a HUGE charizard. It was so much taller than a real charizard. It was about as tall as a Tyrannosaurus! “Oh my GOD!” James yelled. I was thinking the same thing. I pointed the other way. “RUN!” I yelled. James turned and said “already on that”. We started running the other way but the charizard chased us! Each step was like a loud boom! It lowered its head and tried snapping at me. I screamed as each teeth came closer and closer to my skin. James grabbed my hand and pulled me over. He slammed me and him against a huge rock. We stood completely still. James was thinking the same thing. Since it was so big, but its eyes so little it might be a little blind against still stuff. The Charizards nose sniffed the air. It checked us up and down. The blast of air through his nostrils threw us closer to the rock. “What do we do?” James whispered. “On Three, RUN!” I whispered back. “One... two..” I whispered. Then on three I kicked the charizards nose with all my strength. The Charizard threw his head up and roared. I grabbed James hand and ran for it. The Charizard still wanted us though. He decided we were worth the chase. “I can’t run much longer.” James cried. Then I noticed a huge rock. I pointed to it. “Look! There’s a hole in that rock! We can climb inside and hide!” I yelled. The charizard threw his head back. Then with a swift motion threw it back forward. Fire flew from his nostrils. Before we were toast, we jumped inside the hole. The fire missed us about a second away. “My god!” I cried. We were both gasping for breath. “Well be safe here. Let’s just sleep here for the night!” James said. I put my hand over my head. “What’s wrong?” He asked. “How could some one create that thing? Nothing of mine could of beaten that! How do we know it won’t burn this rock down to dust?” I asked. He looked at me blankly. “Your scaring me.” He said. “Why?” I asked. “Usually your the brave one! Now your scared. When your scared your scaring me!” He said. “This is scaring me. I’m way to weak to transform, Dragonite is hurt, mew wouldn’t stand a chance against that thing, and Jesse doesn’t know where we are.” I said. He put an arm around my shoulder. “Don’t worry, we’ll be all right! We can make it out all right if we work together.” he said. I lied my head on his shoulder and slowly closed my eyes. I woke up with a golden beam of sunlight shinning through my eyes. James wasn’t here though! “JAMES?” I yelled. “what?” James yelled back. I crawled out of the exit and looked around. James was sitting in the grass. “What are you doing?” I asked. He stood up and ran over to me. “After you fell asleep, I decided to stay watch all night long.” He said. I was about to yell at him for endangering himself but a movement caught my eye. A huge heard of Dodrio suddenly started to run our way! These were no ordinary Dodrio! These Dodrios legs were as tall as us! We turned and started to run. Dodrio were running around us and leaping over us. “Why are they running?” James yelled. “Probably from a predator.” I yelled back. We ran along with the Dodrio into the woods. Then James pulled me over to the side and the Dodrio ran past. “Good. Now maybe these woods will lead us back.” James said. We walked deeper and deeper into the woods until I noticed it was way too quiet. “James, hear that?” I asked. “Hear what?” he asked. “Exactly! There isn’t even birds chirping. It’s way too quiet!” I said. “Oh well. Maybe the Dodrio scared the birds away. I think the Dodrio stampede was luck! Since they chased us to these woods well be safer and easier to hide from that Charizard!” James said. Then I noticed it from training experience. “It wasn’t luck!” I said. “what?” He asked. “Those Dodrio didn’t chase us here because they wanted to run, were being hunted!” I said. “Hunted? By what?” He asked. “Persians.” I said. “How do you know?” He asked. “From training one. Persians are cleaver killers. They chased that heard of Dodrio so we would run for the woods. Once were lost in the woods, its fair game for them. There every where in these woods. Watching our every move. Once were tired, they’ll kill us.” I said. “What do we do?” James asked. “Don’t run! Then it will be too easy. I know a Persian will chase us right into another waiting one. Just act calm and watch the tree tops! They’ll pounce down on you to break your back!” I said. We walked closer together. As soon as James was 3 inches behind me, a huge Persian leaped from the tree tops. James spun around. The Persian missed James back. James was on his back on the ground. The Persian had him pinned down. This Persian was about as large as a Tauros! I didn’t think. I grabbed a huge stick from the ground. I slung it and smacked the Persian in the face. It flew off of James. James quickly stood up. After that, two other Persian leaped from the trees and next to the hurt Persian. Each one carefully walked closer to me. I took the stick and swung it. I caught another Persian in the face and hit the other one in the eye. I dropped the stick and ran with James. The Persians started to chase us. Finally, the trees ended and we were in the open. James and I ran out and into the grassy plains. Soon as the Persians reached the tree line, they stopped. They stared at us and then turned around and walked away. “Why did they leave?” James asked. I slowly turned. “Because were in some one else’s territory!” I yelled. Behind us, the huge Charizard stood and roared out. I started to think crazy things but it might just work. “Go Arbok!” I yelled and tossed a pokeball. Arbok jumped out. “Arbok is your weakest one! Why use him?” James asked. “I have an idea! I can poison it enough to kill it!” I said. The Charizard went for Arbok, mouth open. “Poison Sting!” I ordered. Arbok released poison darts right into Charizards mouth. The Charizard shook his head and went back at Arbok. “I thought you said it was going to kill it!” James yelled. “It must have a huge system. The poison has to find its way to the heart. It might take a while.” I said. The Charizard snapped at Arbok. Arbok dodged each blow and countered attacked with a bite as fast as lightning. When Arbok bit Charizards nose he pumped more poison into it. “return!” I yelled. Arbok shook his head though. He wouldn’t return! “Why won’t you return?” I yelled. I started to run towards Arbok. James grabbed my arm and held me back. “Stop! Can’t you see that Arbok is distracting the Charizard long enough for the poison to kill it?” James asked. “I don’t care! Arbok isn’t safe!” I yelled. Suddenly the Charizard reared back and blasted a huge breath of fire. It was devastating. James pulled me to safety. I was too shocked to move. All that filled my eyes was the fire that filled the land. The whole land was filled with fire. The Charizard stopped and then gasped. The Poison found its target. The Charizard fell into the fire that consumed the whole land before us. I started to cry! I knew Arbok didn’t make it. James held me closely until the fire died down. Once the fire was gone nothing was standing. The only thing left was the dirt. The trees, grass, rocks, charizards body, and Arbok were all turned to ash. I fell on my knees and started to cry. “Why? Why didn’t he return?” I yelled. James ran over to me and hugged me close. “He would of been all right if he would of come!” I said into James ear. “He loved you! He died to save you. He kept Charizard busy long enough for the poison to kill him. If he didn’t you would of died.” James said. Flapping filled the sky. Lugia flew elegantly down towards us with Jesse, Persian, and Meowth aboard. Lugia landed and Jesse hopped off. “What happened here?” She asks. “Tell you later.” James said. He helped me up and onto Lugia. we flew off and back to our shack. It turns out that Jesse finally found us. I told her what happened and I got Dragonite all fixed up. I made a memorial out side for Arbok. Every day, for 2 weeks, I visited his memorial. We also made the boss very happy by giving him a heard on Kangaskhan! One day I came inside looking for James. I got over Arboks death and going on with my life. I wanted to ask James to train with me but he was no where in sight. I saw Meowth sitting on the floor and eating potato chips. “Have you seen James?” I asked. “Nope! He’s been gone for a long time!” He said. Right at that time, James walked into the shack with a huge grin on his face. “What?” I asked. “I bet you’ve been wondering what I’ve been doing.” He said. “You’ve been gone for a long time.” I said. “I know. And it was all for you.” He said and pulled a pokeball off his belt. He handed it to me. “What is it?” I asked “A pokemon for you. I felt bad about Arbok so I looked all over for this pokemon. Finally, I found one and captured it for you.” He said. “What Pokemon?” I asked. “Open it and find out.” He said. I pushed the button. Out came the best one of all. “A Mewtwo!” I yelled. I jumped and hugged James. I calmed down and returned my new pokemon. “How did you catch it?” I asked. “With Vaporeon, thanks to you!” He said. I put the pokeball on my belt. “James, I’ve been thinking. The real Mewtwo was my friend. I should of helped him. If we find out where he is, do you think we can break him free?” I asked. He smiled and said “Sure.”. I hugged him and whispered in his ear “You’re the best.” He laughed and said “I know.... I know.”.
