Chapter 1

"Carly" Bobbie yelled up the stairs, "Jason's here"

Carly made her way down the stairs, eager to see Jason. He hadn't been able to spend a whole lot of time with her lately. Ever since he moved out of his parent's house he was working non-stop. Carly kept asking him why he didn't use his trust fund money to live on but Jason did not want anything to do with his family. He'd been in a car accident last year and when he'd woken up he had not remembered anyone. Jason could not stand his family with the exception of his little sister and his grandmother. Jason had moved out as soon as he was well enough. He had made friends with Sonny Corinthos much to Carly's dismay. They shared an apartment. Carly didn't know the story on why Sonny lived on his own, frankly she didn't care, he was a jerk and dated the one person Carly hated more than anything. Hannah Delucca, Hannah's father was dating Carly's mom and the whole thing just made Carly sick.

Carly tried to rush past her mother but her mother stopped her.

"Carly, I'm working at the hospital tonight, you'll watch Lucas right?"

"I said I would."Carly replied flippantly.

Bobbie rolled her eyes at her daughter. “That means you come home straight from school, no long bike

rides on Jason's bike."

"Fine, gotta go, see ya."Carly finally broke free of her mother's gaze and flew out the door. She smiled when she saw Jason he was sitting on his motorcycle dressed in jeans, a skin-tight tee shirt and his leather jacket. Carly loved riding on Jason's bike; she loved cuddling up close to him. The bike was the only thing he had excepted from the Quartermaine, the people who used to be his family. Lila, his grandmother had seen how much he wanted it and convinced him to keep it.

"Hi," Carly leaned over and quickly kissed Jason before hopping on the back of his bike.

"Hi,"Jason said back.

Carly wrapped her arms around his waist and tried not to yelp as Jason took off at full speed.

Carly walked into her first class with a look of distaste on her face it the person who was in front of her. She had been pretty happy with her schedule; Jason was in four of her classes. Which was very good,

this class how ever was not one of them and in front of her was one of her least favourite people.

Sonny looked up when he felt someone staring at him. Great it was that ditz blond that Jason dated. She was always around and always picking a fight with Hannah. Sonny had no clue how someone like Carly

could come from such a great family. Sonny worked at Luke's, officially it was part time but Sonny was pretty much always there. He and Luke had become fast friends and aside from Lois's family Luke and his wife Laura were the only people who cared enough about Sonny to watch out for him. That's actually how he'd met Hannah Luke and Hannah's old man were partners at Luke's.

"Corinthos" Carly said glaring at Sonny as if it were his fault he was put in this class.

"Spencer" Sonny replied, he kept his cool though, he knew Carly disliked him as much as he did her but when he acted all calm an arrogant it seemed to get to her more than anything.

Carly moved past Sonny, she knew he did the whole arrogant thing on purpose just to bug her, but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't not react. Carly flopped into the farthest desk away from Sonny she could find. She had to spend enough time with Sonny as it was. He was Jason's best friend and they did live together. Carly looked straight ahead trying her best to pay attention to the teacher and ignore that arrogant sly smile Sonny kept darting at her.

Carly and Jason sat at one of the tables on the cafeteria; they were both staring at the food in front of them.

"I can't believe they'd actually serve us this."Carly said disdainfully.

Jason looked up and smiled at her"I can't believe that you're not over there screaming at the kitchen staff."

"I would, if I knew it would make a difference, but the morons that cook this food..."

Jason looked up when Sonny and Hannah sat down at their table. "Hey man,"

Sonny smiled back at Jason and nodded. Sonny then turned his attention to Carly who was still looking at her food with disgust.

"Hey Carly, it looks like your studying something pretty rank, is there a mirror in there or something."

Carly looked up at Sonny and replied through greeted teeth. "No Sonny, I actually think it's a picture of you."

Hannah glanced at Jason and rolled her eyes. "Come on guys, don't start"

Carly just glared at Hannah in response before turning to Jason.

"I have to watch Lucas today, are you going to come with?"

"I have to work."Jason saw the disappointed look on Carly's face and quickly added "I'll try and stop buy afterwards okay?"

Carly looked down still a little disappointed."I guess."

Jason sighed feeling guilty, he wanted to spend more time with Carly but if he wanted to stay on his own he had to work as much as he could.

Jason made his way towards Sonny after school let out, this was there last year and he couldn't wait for it to be over.

Sonny looked up as he saw Jason approaching, Jason had that look in his eyes, he was going to ask for something. Normally Sonnydidn't mind doing things for Jason, he was like a brother to him, but when he had that look. Sonny knew it had to do with Carly.

"Hey man, where's Hannah?"

Sonny looked at his friend, knowing he was stalling. "Cheer leading practice."

Jason hesitated again and Sony was losing his patients.

"What's up?"

Jason looked at Sonny and just decided to go for it. "Can you give Carly a ride home?"

Sonny let out a groan and looked away from his friend. "Jason..."

"look Sonny, she needs to get home to watch her brother, I was supposed to take her home but there's something going on at the garage and they need me as soon as possible. I wouldn't ask...but"

Sonny let out a long breath. "Fine whatever, where is she?"

"She's in front of the school, I don't have time to get into this with her, but thanks man." Jason quickly turned and left.

Sonny's head shot up."Wait, she doesn't know your not taking her home?"

But Jason was already gone, great just great, this was going to be fun. Sonny turned towards the front of the school and made his way towards the hell that was Carly Spencer.
