The Formation of the Rebels! |
The Country Rebels Band was formed in the summer of 1991. And, as all new bands do (struggling to get their name out) the Country Rebels played their share of FREE shows and benefits everywhere they could trying to gain notoriety and a supporting fan base. Finally, in the spring of 1992, the Country Rebels band had found that "niche" in the local band scene and were off and running. Playing clubs, parties, fairs, festivals, and even rodeo's, they were starting to reap their rewards in the form of packed dance floors full with fans of all ages traveling miles on miles to spend the evening with these fellows based out of West Mansfield, Ohio. Over the years, most of the members have changed. But, the "BOSS", Mr. Keith Mathys has been able to continually acquire some of the best musicians in central Ohio. Playing nearly every weekend, where there are folks looking to hear some good country and rock music, you'll find the Country Rebels band pouring their hearts out through music. Without a doubt, there is no place more like home for these guys than the stage. So, find the one nearest you and spend an evening with the Country Rebels band...a fun time guaranteed. |
