Let me just say I feel the Billboard awards are very much irrelevant to the music industry because they are based on the Billboard top 40, and Hot Spot (duh), so it's really just how long your song and album stay in the number one spot, not talent. With that said...

What a disappointment. Did I think N Sync would actually win? No, but Ms. Spears won every award she was up for, and then she performs and incredibly obvious lip-sync performance. She's disgraceful.

And did you see her outfit (she says as she flips her hair)? It was hideous. It was the same performance as the European Mtv Awards, and surprisingly, her outfit was worse than those awards. Yuck. And the remix is pitiful. I loved the remix she had originally done, but the whole James Bond/Millenium thing was way overplayed. And, excuse me: "I'm taking off my clothes"? What is that? You aren't even wearing any clothes to take off.

Ahhh, the Backstreet boys. I can understand their awards, they deserved them. Maybe not album of the year, but then again, it sold a lot of copies, and that is what these awards are based on. Nick Carter, shut up! His ego is so huge I would like to beat him with a bamboo stick. Oh, and nice hair. Good choice. They were dressed very nice. Unlike...

N Sync. What were they thinking? Their outfits sucked butt! I sure hope they didn't pick those out themselves. How embarrassing. It is becoming much harder to be an N Sync fan. I pray they don't ever wear something like that ever again.
