Baal-Molech and the Connection to Sodom's Destruction

As is the case for many Christians they want a direct smoking gun.
A single verse that can be used as counter proof of the accretion
of mythical sins of homosexuality in the bible. Years of accrued
material has placed a sense of truth to these myths of a sin of
homosexuality in the bible, and as a basis for the destruction of
Sodom and Gomorrah, but the facts and the context simply does not
support their myths. Any thought can be placed upon the bible by
taking verses out of context, and stressing enough time and
cultural belief upon this myth. One needs to be reminded that
the truth is the truth, no matter how many says it is not so,
as, no matter how many people say the earth is flat, it will not
make it so. Here will be presented a case, that by the preponderance
of evidence will for anyone but the most ardent denier of facts,
and so entrenched in their beliefs based in bigotry and hate, will
find that the evidence presented is beyond any reasonable doubt

Here now is the alleged crimes, the verses so often used as the
basis of the mythical sin of homosexuality.

Genesis 19:
5  And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men
which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that
we may know them.

Leviticus 18:
22  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is
abomination.

This is a very limited crime scene, where in most cases the Judges
(Priests etc.) have denied the admittance of very key evidence.
The who, what, where and when evidence of this crime scene. The
jury has been given two pictures and asked to judge the crime
solely by these two pictures alone.

The history of the case:

On first observation these two pictures do not even seem to
be related, other than by a mythical sin of homosexuality, when
in fact the two pictures are a crime scene of the most grievous
of crimes to God, that which is the sin of idolatry. No other sin
causes God to anger more than his creations worshiping other gods.
To God this is a slap in the face, that is totally unacceptable.
We need to go back to the time of the alleged crimes, to the
history of the events and culture of that time to view the crime
scene in its full perspective.

In the land to which Moses was taking his people, God was a minor
God. The Baalim religion, with its various names of the god Baal,
was the major religion of the land of Canaan. These other names
of Baal was as the various names of the Judeo-Christian religion.
In which they are all the same religion at heart, but go by other
names and slightly different rituals (as Baptist and Catholic).
Baal and Molech are the same god and religion, just by different
names. The Baalim religion is that of a fertility god, where his
wife is Ashtoreth (the grove, Ashtaroth, Astaroth, Asherah). The
way one prayed to a fertility god is to have sex to them, to give
seed (semen and in difficult times even their children) to these
gods under the Baalim religion. The fact that sex was involved
in this religion made it a very popular religion, the more sex you
had the more religious and pious you were. The more you used the
services of the temple prostitutes the more you would be looked
upon as a pious person.

In the Baal-Molech religion the head priests were the Chemarim
priests (Zephaniah 1:4, other where just called priests), who
were males, as are the priests of the Catholic religion. Best
known as dressed in black, but also the lesser priests dressed
as females. Unlike in the Judeo-Christian religion where there
is usually one or two priests that head a church, in the temples
(high places) to the Baalim religion there are lines of them.
The temples in their high places were said to be as brothels
to Baal-Molech. Houses of prostitution in every street, even on
the roofs of peoples houses. To which God said to Moses:
Leviticus 18:
1  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2  Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am
the LORD your God.
3  After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt,
shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan,
whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in
their ordinances.
4  Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk
therein: I am the LORD your God.

God clearly is saying he knows the temptation to which his people
led by Moses will be subjected to. Where sex is not for just
multiplying the nation to God, but as a prayer to the fertility
gods in the Baalim religion. Where their seed is not given to
the building of the nation of God, but is given to Baal-Molech
in prayer for fertility to the land, animals and people. The
Ugarit tablets gave much insight into the rituals to Baal, and
gave much insight into what the bible was talking about. Which
had become long forgotten, and gave an environment, due to
ignorance of the sexual rituals to Baal-Molech, in which
homosexuality became the sin not the sexual rituals to the
fertility god Baal-Molech.

The rituals performed in the Ugaritic worship involved a great
deal of alcohol and sexual promiscuity. Worship at Ugarit was
essentially a drunken orgy in which priests and worshippers
indulged in excessive drinking and promiscuous sexuality. This
was an attempt by the worshippers to convince Baal to send rain
on their crops (and cause the fertility to animals and people).
In the ancient world rain and semen were seen as the same thing
(as both produced fruit), so it is natural in this, that the
participants in this fertility religion would behaved this way.
These references are seen throughout the bible, and the bible
cannot properly be understood without the knowledge of the
ancient gods, and especially the verses above at the scene of
the crime cannot be understood without a full understanding of
the ancient gods and their rituals. Here are some verses that
show how common these rituals had become.

Ezekiel 16:
24 That thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place, and
hast made thee an high place (ramah) in every street.
25 Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and
hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy
feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy
whoredoms.
...
31 In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of
every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast
not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;

The word Ramah "high place" is translated by Strong as

Ramah raw-maw'
1. height, high place
  a.  as place of illicit worship

Adam Clarke's Commentary
Ezek 16:
Verse 24. Thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place a
stew or brothel, a bordel house.

The word "sodomite" has been misused as linked to homosexuals
and Sodom, when in fact it is "qadesh" a male temple prostitute.
The taker of the money for the temple prostitution, a Chemarim
priest. The connection to the Baal temple worship can be seen in:

2 Kings 23:
4  And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests
(Chemarim) of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to
bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were
made for Baal, and for the grove (Asherah), and for all the host
of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of
Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.
5  And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah
had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of
Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that
burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the
planets, and to all the host of heaven.
6  And he brought out the grove from the house of the LORD, without
Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron,
and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon
the graves of the children of the people.
7  And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the
house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.

Adam Clarke's Commentary:
2 Kings 23
Verse 7. The houses of the sodomites] We have already often met
with these kedeshim or consecrated persons. The word implies
all kinds of prostitutes.

We see the connection from the above of Baal and what God said
to Moses toward Molech and the temple prostitution to which
Moses was warned:

Leviticus 20:
1  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2  Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he
be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in
Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely
be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3  And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off
from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto
Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
4  And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from
the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
5  Then I will set my face against that man, and against his
family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him,
to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

We see also in the connected chapter of Leviticus 18 what
God told Moses about Molech as:

Leviticus 18:
21  And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire
to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am
the LORD.

God is saying give no seed to Molech, either semen nor your
children (your seed).

The connection is clear in:

2 Kings 23:
8  And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and
defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense,
from Geba to Beersheba, and brake down the high places of the
gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the
governor of the city, which were on a man's left hand at the gate
of the city.
9  Nevertheless the priests of the high places came not up to the
altar of the LORD in Jerusalem, but they did eat of the unleavened
bread among their brethren.
10  And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children
of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass
through the fire to Molech.

Jer 32:
35  And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the
valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their
daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded
them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this
abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

And the connection to Baal to this same ritual, connecting
Baal to Molech in the Baalim religion.

Jer 19:
5  They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their
sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded
not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:

2 Chr 28:
2  For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also
molten images for Baalim.
3  Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom,
and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the
heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.
4  He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and
on the hills, and under every green tree.

We should now have enough evidence to connect that which is said
in Leviticus 18 in connection to the Baal-Molech sexual rituals.

Leviticus 18:
21  And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire
to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am
the LORD.
22  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is
abomination.
23  Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself
therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie
down thereto: it is confusion.
24  Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all
these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

Clearly when one knows the sexual rituals to Baal-Molech and
the giving of the seed to Baal-Molech both semen and actual
children, the connection of Lev 18:21 to Lev 18:22 becomes clear.

Leviticus 20:
5  Then I will set my face against that man, and against his
family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him,
to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

Leviticus 18:
21  And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire
to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am
the LORD.
22  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is
abomination.

God is again saying give no seed (semen or children) to Molech.

Eze 16:
24 That thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place, and
hast made thee an high place (ramah) in every street.
Eze 16:
25 Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and
hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy
feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy
whoredoms.

Adam Clarke's Commentary
Ezek 16:
Verse 24. Thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place a
stew or brothel, a bordel house.

We now can see part of the crime scene has nothing to do with
homosexuality, when in fact it was heterosexuals giving seed to
Chemarim priests to pray to the fertility god Molech (Baal).
This had nothing to do with homosexuality at all, it had
everything to do with a religious duty. It is like calling
modern Christians cannibals for drinking the blood and eating
the body of Christ. Both rituals have nothing to do with
cannibalism nor homosexuality and everything to do with a
religious ritual, a religious duty. The Chemarim priest in
receiving the seed and the heterosexual in giving the seed
in prayer to a fertility god, had nothing what so ever to
do with homosexuality, the same as drinking the blood and
eating the body of Christ has nothing to do with cannibalism.

Now to the second picture at the alleged crime scene.

In the Sodom story it seems the fact that Sodom was slated
for destruction before the alleged crime took place is
never mentioned. God said:

Genesis 18:
20  And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah
is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
21  I will go down now, and see whether they have done
altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me;
and if not, I will know.

Now one needs to know why Sodom was slated for destruction.
What was their grievous sin?

Jer 23:
13  And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they
prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
14  I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible
thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen
also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his
wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the
inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
...
27  Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their
dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their
fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

Again we see the Baal connection which is further born out
in the word Sodomite "qadesh" male temple prostitute.

Abraham is seen to barter with God to not destroy Sodom if there
is enough righteous people in the city of Sodom:

Genesis 18:
22  And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward
Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
23  And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the
righteous with the wicked?
24  Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt
thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous
that are therein?
25  That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the
righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as
the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the
earth do right?
26  And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within
the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

Abraham finally bartered God down to ten:

Genesis 18:
32  And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak
yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he
said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

The destruction was for unrighteousness, not homosexuality, it was
slated for destruction for the worship of Baal, and no one, not
even ten, believed in God. What was the straw that broke the
camels back for God to cause the destruction?

Ezekiel 16:
49  Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride,
fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her
daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
50  And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me:
therefore I took them away as I saw good.
51  Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast
multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified
thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.

In other words Sodom was a place that was inhospitable to strangers.
God has a major problem with being inhospitable to strangers.

Deuteronomy 10:
18  He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and
loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
19  Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the
land of Egypt.

Even Jesus said the same thing:

Matthew 10:
14  And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when
ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
15  Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land
of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

This brings us to the second picture in the alleged crime scene,
but does not tell us the whole story yet. Sodom was being very
inhospitable to the Angels that God had sent to see the grievous
sins of idolatry, but that is not the whole story. More history
needs to be known of this time. Why would the men of Sodom want
to know them (the angels, the men that came as guests of Lot)
At the time spies were a grave concern to any city, they
represented an advanced invasion, the spied out the city before
its destruction. We can see in:

Numbers 21:
1  And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south,
heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he
fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.
2  And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt
indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly
destroy their cities.

2 Samuel 10:
3  And the princes of the children of Ammon said unto Hanun their
lord, Thinkest thou that David doth honour thy father, that he
hath sent comforters unto thee? hath not David rather sent his
servants unto thee, to search the city, and to spy it out, and
to overthrow it?

We can see the cities had every reason to fear spies, and to
want to know every person that comes into a city. To have them
brought before the elders of the city to be judged as to
whether they were spies or not. The fact is the men (Angles) that
came to Sodom as guests of Lot were spies, they were there to
spy out the city for destruction. The men both young and old
of Sodom after a time before the men (Angels) were to lay down,
came to "know them" to see if they were spies or not, to judge
them to be spies or not.

Genesis 19:
4  But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of
Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the
people from every quarter:
5  And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men
which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we
may know them.
...
9  And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow
came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal
worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the
man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

They needed to be judged to be spies or not, we can see from an
exact same event in Judges 19:22 it had nothing what so ever to
do with sex.

Judges 19:
22  Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men
of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about,
and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the
old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house,
that we may know him.

Now to see there was no sex intent at all, it was to know them,
and if they did not come out on their own, to kill them. Spies
were a threat, they had every reason to kill them if they did
not lend themselves to judgment.

Judges 20:
3  (Now the children of Benjamin heard that the children of
Israel were gone up to Mizpeh.) Then said the children of Israel,
Tell us, how was this wickedness?
4  And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain,
answered and said, I came into Gibeah that belongeth to Benjamin,
I and my concubine, to lodge.
5  And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house
round about upon me by night, and thought to have slain me: and
my concubine have they forced, that she is dead.

One can see from this no homosexual sex is implied what so ever.
No sex at all is implied what so ever. Only to know them to see
who they were, if they could not judge (know) them, then they
would kill them.

We are now left with the two pictures of the alleged crime scene
now placed in context. The context is that of a crime scene that
had nothing what so ever to do with homosexuality, as is the
accrued myth that has come to be assigned to these two pictures
(verses). We see they are connected to Baal-Molech and to spies,
which has nothing to do with homosexuality. Now let's see the
verses in context.

Genesis 19:
5  And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men
which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that
we may know them.

To know them (the Angles) to see if they were spies, who were
sent by God to spy out Sodom for destruction for the worship of
Baal.

Leviticus 18:
22  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is
abomination.

Thou shalt not lie with Chemarim priests of Molech (Baal) as
with womankind, to give seed to Molech, which is idolatry an
abomination, and does nothing to build the nation to God. Again
these verses have nothing to do with homosexuality.

Lev 20:
2  Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever
he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that
sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech;
he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall
stone him with stones.
...
5  Then I will set my face against that man, and against his
family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after
him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

Leviticus 18:
21  And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the
fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy
God: I am the LORD. (give no seed to Molech)
22  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it
is abomination.(give no seed to male Chemarim priests to Molech)
23  Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself
therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie
down thereto: it is confusion.(give no seed to beasts to Molech)
24  Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in
all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
(Give no seed to Molech it does not build the nation it defiles
the nation, it is idolatry an abomination.)

Lev 20:
3  And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him
off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed
unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
...
13  If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both
of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put
to death; their blood shall be upon them. (give no seed to male
Chemarim priests to Molech, it is idolatry, which is treason,
which carried the death penalty)
...
15  And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death:
and ye shall slay the beast. (give no seed to beasts to Molech)
16  And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto,
thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to
death; their blood shall be upon them. (give no seed to beasts to
Molech in temple idolatrous worship)

Adam Clarke's Commentary
Ezek 16:
Verse 24. Thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place a
stew or brothel, a bordel house.

Matthew Henry Commentary
2 Kings 23:4-7
Those that dishonoured their God were justly left thus to
dishonour themselves in prostitution, Rom. 1:24. There were
women that wove hangings for the grove (v. 7), tents which
encompassed the image of Venus, where the worshippers committed
all manner of lewdness, and this in the house of the Lord.

The conclusion is that the verses generally assigned to homosexuality
have nothing to do with homosexuality, and have been confused with
the fertility sexual rituals to theses fertility gods.
