The F'lar family have been wearing the mantle of Wrathstar every fifty years for ten thousand years. There is a long history of first born men of the F'lar family wearing the mantle and taking on the challenge of being Wrathstar. The legend was started by the Dreathe, a race of mystery and religion by the rest of the known universe. The legend started when, ten thousand years ago, in the galaxy known as Cygnus-Draconia. Because of events caused by the Cygnus War, the universe was plunged into a dark age of pain and suffering after a five millenia long period of peace. The Dreathe prayed to God for the universe to be delivered from the dark age and for peace.
Not long after, there was someone standing up for the way of peace. He was only known as Mak'a. No one knew where he came from. He chose one man to deliver the Universe out of the dark age. He showed this man how to do it and with a sword, which was cut from the Godstar stone and forged on the volcanic planet of Ignatia, gave him the power to do it. not long after, Mak'a was assasinated by A Cygnus Tecnowarrior. Mak'a became a martyr. The man who was given the power was so angry he killed Emperor Furystar and thus was given the name Wrathstar, short for " The Great Wrath Of The Universe And The Stars ". Not long after, after not finding an heir to the throne, the Cygnus Empire fell.
Ten thousand years later, the mantle was given to Uylesses F'lar, the latest first born F'lar family member and the most powerful since the original Wrathstar. Now more than ever, there's a need for the " Universal Crusader ". Uylesses F'lar was born during the battle of Megadera(the battle lasted four years). Uylesses father, Ro'jan F'lar, and mother, Mary Thorogood-F'lar, were pursued by the Rodension Imperial Dragonstar Armada when Uylesses and his twin brother, Seplaton, were three years old ,just after Johnathan and Sha'jol'li were born . They were taken prisoner but later managed to escape in seperate ships. Circumstances prevented them from taking the same ship. Ro'jan had Uylesses and Johnathan in one ship, Mary had Seplaton and Sha'jol'li in the other. A atomizer blast distroyed Mary, Seplaton, and Sha'jol'li's ship, Ro'jan, Uylesses, and Johnathan's ship managed to escape.
Sixteen years later, Ro'jan F'lar and a being only known as Ultra defended the world of T'Ginn against a massive Rodension Imperial attack. Ultra lost both his arms and legs. Ro'jan disappeared. Some say he didn't survive because there was nothing left, only his sword, the Sword Of Mystics.
Ultra was fitted with cybernetic limbs and went into hiding. He changed his name to Rex Steel. He took it upon himself to take care of Uylesses and introduce his daughter, Susan James, to him. At the time, Uylesses was involved with a woman named Jama Nesmith. Jama was later kidnapped by a being named Happyjack and was taken to " The Demension Of Pure Evil ". Jama, now forever changed, later came back calling herself " The Sorcerwitctch".
While Jama Nesmith was still missing, Uylesses met and later married a woman named Amanda Fox. She led a double life as Mystar, a former "Sorcerwitch" obsessed with distroying Happyjack and saving her friend, Jama Nesmith, from his influence. A few years later, Uylesses graduated from the academy. Afterwards, Ulysses served on and later was given his first command on the USS Voyager IV. Later,in the battle of Svenlaticia, Amanda was killed by a rodension sniper. He was acting on orders from being known as Moraq The Conquerer. Not long after the battle and killing Moraq The Conquerer in a fierce battle for murdering amanda, Uylesses married Susan James.
Not long after, Uylesses was assigned to his second command after moving up in the ranks in a short amount of time. He was assigned to command the legendary U.S.S. Revolutionary, a battleship cruser class ship. Uylesses made a name for himself in " The Battle Of Kendora ". When the areowarrior flagship was distroyed, Uylesses took command of the fleet and turned the tide. In the end, both sides suffered heavy losses, but the Rodension Imperial Armada retreated.
After the " Battle Of Kendora ", Uylesses was promoted to supreme admirl and was elected to be the leader of the Areowarrior's Republic. He made a promise to end the millenia long Spyketon - Rodension war. The people regained their hope that the war would be over soon.
Ever since then the Rodension Empire was losing battle after battle. Emperor Yang-Ghinghus Ming,VIII, along with his loyaltists, ploted a conspiracy to overthrow Uylesses F'lar as leader of the Areowarrior's Republic. They plotted to destroy the U.S.S. Revolutionary on its decommisioning ceromony and Uylesses taking the blame for its distruction.
The Empire had some loyaltists in the Areowarror Congress, although nobody knew. They carefully planned the consipacy and when it was all over, elected John Malaci as the new leader.
Uylesses F'lar was tried and convicted for the distuction of the Revolutionary and everyone on board.
Uylesses and Susan, his wife by his side, were being taken to the prison planet of H'kier, when a rodension interceptor disabled the prison ship. The Rodensions boarded it, killed the crew, and took Uylesses and Susan hostage, making it look like they escaped.
Gloatting over his victory, Emperor Ghinghus taunted Uylesses by tourchering Susan. Susan escaped from being bound only to be murdered while Uylesses helplessly watched. Susan was impaled by Emperor Ghinghus' sword.
Uylesses went insane with grief and madness. He had vengence on his mind. He started to harness power he never knew he had. His sword myseriously appeared out of nowhere when he thought it lost. Uylesses used it to strike down the Emperor. Just when Uylesses thought the battle was won, he was struck down by the Emperor and left for dead.
Uylesses was rescued by undercover rouge areowarriors disguised as Rodension troopers. They recovered Susan's body and had a small, but dignified and emotional burial service.
While this was going on, Rex Steel was trying to save Uylesses' life. No conventional medicine was helping him. Desperate to save uylesses' life, Rex was at a loss to explain what was killing him or how. Without warning, Uylesses' sword lit up with power. It floated to him and shot a bright ray of light at him. It grew brighter and brighter. The power got more intense, so intense, it distroyed the room Uylesses' was in. No one knew whether he was alive or dead, until Uylesses emerged unharmed and healed from his injuries.
Even though Uylesses had power that rivaled the emperor himself, he didn't want to use this power. He knew of the Wrathstar legend and the things that one would go though when one takes the mantle of Wrathstar. He wanted no part of it. For one to take the mantle of Wrathstar is to know the isolation and loneliness that it comes with it. Zerxez Zedmore and her daughter, Belinda Zedmore, leaders of the revolution, who rescued Uylesses, convinced him to change his mind. Now, the revolution, with the help of the Dreathe, Uylesses F'lar, as Wrathstar, fight the war that the Areowarrior's Republic couldn't.
