BRIEF HISTORY
18 Daggers started as Transfer 18 3 years ago with the original members Danny P on Guitar, Mike Brittain on Guitar, C.J Nichols on Bass, and Keith Ignition on Drums. That band disbanded when Keith went to College in Pittsburg, and C.J combined his other band, Solid State Ignition, with The Aggravators, and formed Haunted Head, which involved more commitment. Transfer 18 Played one last show with Whatever, Haunted Head, and Self Defense at the Phantasy, where they saw drummer Allen Maier and Bass Player Steve Lugosi play (from Self Defense). Soon after, Dan recruited Steve and Allen to be in Transfer18, and they parted with Self Defense. The remaining members of Self Defense still play, and are now Clevelan', The Signoffs. Soon after T:18 was back in buisness, former guitarist Mike Brittain re-joined the band and played for a few months before deciding to attend college in Los Angeles. Transfer 18 played a few shows as a 3-peice band, but soon recruited ex-drummer Keith Gayton to play Guitar. In February of 2000, Matt Bene, formally from the band Whatever... joined the band as the new lead guitar player, and Dan will sing. Recently, the line-up changed one final time as Matt left to pursue his professional career, and Allen formed the band Streetwalker. Russ Rocker and Jeff fill in better than expected, and now the band is stronger than before. The five peice, now dubbed "18 daggers" is based more on Rock n' Roll, but continues to play some of the original punk anthems from the old days.
