Janaree's Sanctuary

It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years since my divorce. I was working for Continental Airlines until recently. I worked for them for nearly 3 years. I highly recommend that if anyone wishes to work for them, that they should. You don't have to be a perfect size 5, or be the perfect height. Trust me, I am not. Just go for your dream and do it. You wont regret it.However, it's a very demanding position. Being a ASA (Airport Sales Agent) can be very stressful. When I resigned, It felt as though a ton of weight was lifted off my shoulders. I do miss the perks of flying, and getting first class whenever I wanted.

I was working as a general contractor and loved every minute of it. I didn't have someone breathing down my neck, Or complaining cause they recieved bad customer service. Nor did I have someone screaming at me simply because they could not read their own reservations.

Working for Slim (Jim Hall) was a good experience. In the short time that I worked with him, he taught me a great deal about construction. He taught me how to wire an entire room, while running them into a wall unit - fuse box -, what kind of wire to use for what. How to wire for cable and telephone lines. Laying tile, and how to cut the tile. Plumbing, and how to set the lines. What the state requires for placing the electrical lines, and sockets in walls. The required feet that they have to be apart, and how far off the floor the requirements call for. How to texture ceilings and walls. The different types of insulation you use in the walls compared to the insulation you place in attics. I do miss working with Slim. It was easy working with him. He took the time out to explain a lot, and for that I am grateful.

Cleveland is a beautiful area, with a lot of interesting area's to visit, and things to do. However, I do miss Maryland very much. I am so used to being out in the country with miles and miles of open fields. I am not yet used to having neighbors so close to ones back door. But, I am adjusting. I miss the smell of the ocean out my bedroom window, and the sounds of the waves beating against the shoreline at night. There are places here that Maryland does not have. I have been to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame, and would encourage anyone who comes to Cleveland to go see it. Plan on spending at least 3 to 4 hours walking around. There is a lot to see. I still have not seen it all, and plan on going back.

I am no longer living in Cleveland. I moved to San Jose California Dec 26, 2000. I didn't care too much for it. It was nice for a while. Unfortunately things didn't work out the way I had hoped they would. Carlos and I didn't see things eye to eye on a lot of issues. Perhaps that was for the best. I hold no hard feelings towards him, and I am grateful for the way things ended. I wish him all the best of luck in the road or path he chooses in life. A woman will be very lucky when it's time for him to settle down and become a husband. I know he will go far in life. He has a lot of expectations for himself, and I have no doubt that he will accomplish them.

After I left California, I returned to Cleveland for a few months, and eventually returned back to Maryland for reasons which were beyond my control. I do miss Cleveland, and hope to return there someday. But for now, I'll remain in Maryland with my family and friends.

If you care to get to know me a little bit more, you can visit my personal page. Just click on my Personal Profile Page to learn more about me, and the kind of person I am. As well as what I look like (for those of you who are interested)

I have a page of places where you can find me, as well as my My Favorite Links page shows a list of places that I have found on the net that I have found to be interesting, and places where I go to download information. Some of them are for web development, and basic points of interest. Free shareware can be found on some of them that I have listed, and a few shareware programs made available to the public. If you know a site that you think I might like, email me, and I will list it here.

People I have met on the internet, whom I have grown to know.. and become very close friends with can be found at My Friends page that I have created to let them know how I feel about them.

I have done a page to honor, and say thanks to those whom I have met while living in Cleveland. People who I will always remember and concider friends. If you think you may have made that list.. go to My Friends from Cleveland page

Hometown is about Maryland, and where I grew up. I have links on this page that you can visit to learn more about the state, and the area I lived in.

I have dedicated a page to my Parents. I think the world of them.

My Car This page deals with my car, and all the work I have done on it..please check out the before and after pictures I took.

This page is a link to my brother Greg, and his family out in Missouri. I hope that someday I will be able to get out there to visit with him.. perhaps maybe over the summer when Carlos is in Spain. The Other Nagels I love my brother a great deal. I just hope that now that I have been able to get back in touch with him, we can work on building our relationship back up. We both share a lot of pain within our family from when we were growing up. But, I guess, thats a part of growing old. A part of learning how to deal with it, and moving on.

On this page you will find a list of MUDS, MUSHES, and MUSES that I like, and RP on. I also, have a list of other games that I think are nice, and think people would find interesting.

Please let me know what you think about what you have seen. I would like to know those who have visited my page as well. If you would please take a moment and sign my Guestbook I would really appreciate it. Thank you for coming to see my page. I really enjoy doing this in my spare time.

Well.. this is about it for now.. I will continue to update this page. As I am sure it will continue to grow. Please send me your comments and suggestions. I am constantly updating this page, and I hope to add more links to this as the year goes on . I have enjoyed designing this, and I hope with this, my friends will get to know me a bit more than they do now. I am in the process of adding more links to this. But I have yet to find the time. I am currently working on other webpages for friends and family, that my own has been placed on hold at the moment. My biggest project for me at this time is getting the completion of my game running online. It's been taking up a lot of the free time I do have.

The Ohio Side of my Family On this page I have pictures of my fathers side of the family that were taken Christmas 2000. I really enjoyed spending the holiday with my cousin Mark and LeAnn. I got to surprise my Aunt and Uncle, whom I haven't seen in 10 years. And, believe me.. they were shocked when I arrived. It was the most memoriable holiday I have had. I left for California on December 26th. I hope to visit them again soon.

I am continuing to update this page, and add links to it. If you have any suggestions, or if there are things you would like to know, please email me.
