I would not make myself noticed,
Her beauty it scared me so.
An arms reach was the closest
But I held my breath and laid low.
All I could was watch her
As she slowly passed me by.
But my heart was a beating thunder,
Then she turned and caught my eye.
She didn't run, she just smiled
Then she leaned and took my hand.
She said, "I noticed you all the while.
Is this all that you have planned?"
Then I stood and embraced her
And I told her how my heart yearns.
Then her lips said the magic words
How her heart so too burns.
Our love to each we surrender.
Our hearts now beat as one.
Our love now flows as the river,
And shines like the morning sun.
Time has a way of giving.
Now I am giving all my time.
The meaning of my life
Is for the Princess I call mine.
