It was in the middle of summer. Jimmy was 9 years old. Billy was 11 years old and I was 7 years old. Well...Mom and Dad were...well it doesn't really matter how old they were.

My dad was going to wash he cars, except Jimmy, Billy and I all came out to play with dad. Dad heard the sound of the door closing and quickly turned the hose on all three of us. That started the fun! We ran back inside and got on our bathing suits. We came out of the house armed with water guns and water balloons. Billy came up with a plan that would lead dad around the cars and tangle up the hose. Dad was too smart for us though. He untangled himself and the hose and and got us all soaking wet again. Jimmy would drop his water gun and run away from dad. Eventually, Jimmy got control of the hose and squirted dad in the back.

Mom came out to see what all the commotion was about. My dad turned around and squirted mom with the hose. Everyone was laughing so hard that day. It will stay as a happy memory forever.

I remember the smile on Jimmy's face that day. It went from one ear to the other. This was one of my favorite memories with Jimmy.
