Heart Prints
I wade through this Sea
of endless and turbulent, emotions...
Questioning "Why?"
Am I to traverse
this lonely path alone?
Am I destined to be unhappy?
To spend my life with someone,
Whom, I do not "Love"?
Then as if by magic,
He washes up over the horizon,
Wraps his fingers around my senses,
Touches my heart, and
Surrounds my searching soul.
A fire burning so hot,
yet so calm and so reassuring.
Feeling like a frightened little girl,
afraid of being consumed by his
passions burning flame,
The woman in me
slowly gives in to his wiles.
His soft yet probing caresses,
Tender yet burning kisses
Delving deeply within me,
Leaving their heart prints
like fingerprints, on my soul.
