Week 13 – One
Beginning is Another Beginning’s End
First,
I’d like to thank everyone for playing this year. This has been one of the more
competitive seasons that I can remember. Hopefully, everyone will consider coming
back again next year to play. Now time for some awards:
¨ WFL Player of the Year: Peyton Manning (406 pts). It wasn’t even close! Priest who?
¨ WFL Coach of the Year:
Edward R (92%). I think he wins this every year
he plays!
¨ WFL Rookie of the Year:
Adam W (10-3). Both Adam & Jordan (7-6) made
strong showings in their first year.
¨ WFL Comeback Players of the Year: Steve B (8-5) &
Mike D (
Speaking of playoffs, let’s see who keeps on
playing:
1. Adam W
2. Steve W
3. Edward R
4. Steve B
5. Mike D
6. Jordan W
Congrats to everyone. The top 2 seeds have the week
off to rest their brains (and considering the two players, they need it!). The
3 seed plays the 6 seed, and the 4 seed plays the 5 seed in the Wild Card round
this weekend. Home field advantage goes to the higher seed. For the
Championship this year, home field will be determined by the number of away
games the teams played during the regular season. If one team has played 7 away
games and the other played 6,
they get home field. If both teams played the same number of away
games, we will have a coin toss. Of the playoff teams, Adam & Steve W
played 6 this year, everyone else played 7 away. (It’s how the scheduletron made the schedule! Don’t blame me!)
