Here's me, as best as I can describe me...

The first photo is me as of January fourth, 2000. The second pic is of me in April 2000, beside my house,After I'd Shaved off the goatee and changed the hair. and the third shot is me in early May, 2000 On tour in Seattle with Kokopelli
That's me. Tyler William Carrigg Coe. Of course I have my idiosyncrasies, and eccentricities. I know I look all pissed off in the first photo, and in the second I'm doing this weird squinty sneer thing, the third picture just isnt very clear. Just believe me when I say I usually look beter than that. My minor narcissistic tendencies require me to inform you of this fact. Life histories are always boring, so I'll start with some stats first, then you can skip the rest if it bores you.

Here's a verbose description of me, prompted by some guy named Anthony who started talking to me on Whyte Avenue last summer and asked me "who are you?" then seemed annoyed when I told him my name... not the answer he was looking for. so for a somewhat recent (OCT '00) look at who I think I am, read on:
I am a Unabashedly Hypocritical
Socially flexible
Self contradictory
Financialy unstable
Mildly Beguiling
Intellectually insecure
Verbose
Sexually Frustrated
Cautiously Optimistic
Idealistic
Pontificating
Rather Eccentric
Recklessly Opinionated
Discreetly Artistic
Diplomatic
Occaisionally unitentionally Insensitive
Perceptive
Emotionally Flexible
Randomly Sensitive
Quasi-Alternative
Post-Classic
Theatre Brat.
esentially, that's me, as far as I can tell. Each phrase was given careful consideration. It ocurrs to me that this may be romantic self-sabotage to any future potential girlfriend who may read this, but there it is, the most honest me I can come up with, laid bare. Take me or leave me, but don't try to change me, because I'm already up to my neck in trying to change my self (for the better of course...)
So now a brief history. I've lived in the Edmonton
area all my life, except for a brief eight months in
Australia. My Mother, Sister and Step-Dad moved there
in 1996, because my Mother grew up there and wanted to
move back home after a couple decades of living in
Canada. I stayed behind with my Dad to finish High
School, and, that accomplished in June of '97, I went
to visit them from July of the same year to March of
'98.
As for my current residential situation,I live with a room mate in Downtown Edmonton, Right near the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
I'm doing my first year of a Bachelor of Arts at
Grant MacEwan College, (Just another English Major...
probably not much more valuable than a High School Diploma
these days, the monetary value is rather brutal though,
eh?). I sing with the Kokopelli Youth Choir, (who I
strongley recommend you check out, they're in the
"Tycoland Tourism Guide") and we perform freqeuntly
from September to June
Which brings me to the last little bit about me...
I'm a recovering Geek.
No, not the biting-heads-off-chickens geek, but the regular,
garden variety, shunned-by-all-with-any-social-reputation-to-uphold-in-school sort of geek. I'm not a nerd either, for there was virtually no worship of Dungeons
and Dragons or Star Trek in my adolescence, and my
knowledge of computers is still just above functionable level.
I suppose I should say I was a geek unitil about the
end of the ninth grade, when I began to shed it a
little, (Maybe leaving the Hell I call junior High
School had something to do with that)and when I transferred
from Bev Facey High School in Sherwood Park to Vic.
(Victoria High School) at the beginning of grade eleven and entered a group of entirley new people without decade old prejudices against me, I
managed to leave that behind me entirely.
Homeward bound, I wish I was...
