Breeding a litter of kittens can be a joy or a heartache. Most folks start breeding
without doing much "homework" in preparation, and some costly mistakes can occur with that
first purchase or that first litter. However, the good news is that there ARE ethical and experienced
breeders out there, who can assist you to get started breeding cats.
The breeders out there are people, just like you. They had to become educated
about cats and cat breeding, and they made mistakes and learned from their mistakes. The
kinder members of the cat fancy still remember what it was like to be new, and to make mistakes.
They would like to assist you by sharing their experiences.

cats, from choosing your breed and aquiring your first cat, to selling the pets you've produced
to good homes and showing the best kitten in your first litter.
