The Cuban Missile Crisis
This site provides information about the Cuban Missile Crisis. This was caused by Nikita Krushchev's idea to place nuclear missiles in Cuba. This caused a type of panic in the United States. President Kennedy ordered Krushchev to get rid of the nuclear missiles. Krushchev disagreed to remove them unless the United States agreed to remove their missiles in Turkey and not to invade Cuba again. Kennedy agreed and this ended the Cold War.
