We are one of the newest troops in the French Creek District! We are 12 kindergarten age girls that meet every Monday night after school. We have had lots of fun already...we went on a hayride at the apple farm, picked apples, had cider in a sipper, played in the hay maze, picked out our pumpkins, and laughed at the pumpkin people! We've gone to Pizza Hut for a tour, then made our own Personal Pan Pizzas! Yum! Girl Scouting sure is fun! We just had our investiture where we all got our Daisy Pins and certificates. Our big sisters wanted our leader to turn our pins upside down til we did a good deed, but haha...the daisy pin is the same right side up as upside down!
We've been having even more fun...like making playdough and turning our hands all green! Now we are starting to learn about being Brownie Girl Scouts so we can bridge up in a few months! We can't wait! We had thinking day activities where we got our WAGGS pins and learned about girl guides in Japan and made cute little Japanese dolls.
We also just had our annual mother/daughter banquet where we saw two senior girl scouts get their gold awards! That was very exciting...and someday we hope we can earn the gold award, too! Our mother/daughter banquet was on Be Your Best Day.
We've been doing other fun things like bumper bowling, and we are getting ready to tour Burger King ( and we are really looking forward to playing in the playland!)
