A page just for Morgan...

This was my baby, Morgan! She was a Saint Bernard and was born on May 25, 1997.
Her registered name was Little Miss Morgan Jo. Please enjoy the pictures below.

October 7, 2003: Morgan is 6 years old and we have just found out that she has bone cancer. She probably has 2-3 months to live. This is extremely heart-breaking news, but we are enjoying every second that we have left with her. She is truly one of a kind, and she will be greatly missed by everyone.

February 22, 2004: We had Morgan put to sleep on February 7, 2004. She was having more trouble getting around and you could hear in her breathing that the cancer had spread to her lungs. My parents and I agreed that we did want her to get any worse. She was an angel sent from heaven, and now she's my sweet angel in heaven. She has left a huge hole in my heart, and I don't think it will ever completely heal.

Just a puppy!
Here is a picture of Morgan the night we brought her home. She was almost 8 weeks old, and sooooooooooo adorable!

In her house
Here's Morgan in her little dog house that she had when she was a puppy. Needless to say, she didn't fit in this little house for very long, but she liked it when she did! After she outgrew the house, it became a big chew toy!

Getting bigger!
Here is a picture of Morgan at about 4 months old. She grew fast!

Being naughty!
Here is a picture of Morgan at about 6 months old. She had a great time once she figured out she could get up on the beds. Here she is in my parent's bed, with a rawhide bone. She still sleeps in my bed sometimes!

What a sweetie!
When she got in trouble for getting on the bed, she would just snuggle up in the blankets. She's also about 6 months old in this picture.

Look at those long legs!
Morgan is very tall for a St. Bernard, especially for a female! She is about 32" at the shoulder and she weighs about 135 lbs.

Playing in the pool!
Morgan loves her little pool... although she fit much better when she was smaller. She still plays in it now, and she has a lot of fun!

Waiting for a belly rub
This is Morgan's favorite position... waiting for a belly rub! She is a big baby! This was taken shortly after her elbow surgery, that's why her shoulder and leg are naked.

Playing in the snow!
Well, this is what they were bred for, right?? Morgan loves the snow, it doesn't seem too cold to her with that thick coat!

A close up!
I just love her adorable face!

Rolling Acres' Zoe
This is Morgan's mom, Zoe. She is much darker in color than Morgan. She is not as tall as Morgan, but she is about the same weight. Morgan's breeder is no longer breeding Zoe because she's getting older.

Storming Norman
This is Morgan's dad, Norman. I've never seen him in person, only pictures, but I think Morgan really resembles him. He is very tall also, about 34", and weighs about 210 pounds. He's a big guy!

Some Saints!
Here is Clementine (on the right), another Saint that Morgan's breeder owns. Zoe is in the middle, and a little baby Morgan on the left! The last time we talked to Morgan's breeder, she said she was thinking about breeding Clementine with Norman. Clemy's a cutie!
