Septic Tanks: We've got something up our sleeve.

Someday I'm gonna start this page over again, it's pretty pathetic.

updated on 9.16.98

I've actually recorded a new song!!! Even though it was "Pay No Mind" by Beck, it shows you, the Septic Tanks fan that Beelee Hopeless is still alive! It's gonna go on a Beck tribute comp on Derrick Edwards's No Name Records.

This is Billy Hopeless, sole member of the multiplatinum rock ensemble, the Septic Tanks. The Septic Tanks' first album, "Pump up the Valium," has 23 songs about the depression boredom found in of suburban society (pity me) and other stuff. It is released on Generic Recordings, a label that I co-run with Chris Purcell. We also play in a band called Curmudgeon, but enough about them. The Septic Tanks have three songs on the "Generic-Athon" compilation under the name, Billy Kotchkoski. Generic Recordings has also released a compilation of slow, sad, and depressing songs on which the Septic Tanks' song, "I Don't Wanna Go to Work Today" will appear. I am in the process of writing new songs for a second album and am hoping to buy a 4 track (maybe Chris's) soon to record with.

NEWS:

Here's some good news. Derrick Edwards from Newfoundland's No Name Records has recorded a version of the Septic Tanks' song "Fun" for the new Mr. Bellyache ep, "Audiobiography." So buy it today.

The same two songs are done. Maybe I'll get at least something done during summer.

In case you haven't noticed, "Pump Up the Valium" is now being distributed by Eleet Tapes.

So far, I've just recorded 2 songs for the new album. I really hope it'll get finished this month.

Since it's spring break, I will finally record some new songs for a new release! I am hoping to get it all done by the end of April and have it out on CD!

I just finished recording a new song at Chris's house called "I Don't Wanna Go to Work Today." It will appear on the Generic Recordings compilation of slow and sad songs which, as of now, should be called "Why Y'all So Emo?".

I finally set up my computer and am on the internet! So now I'll update this page a lot more.

The Septic Tanks just got signed to Jason Erb's label M8BR in a move to simply copy the Disappointmints! The album Pump Up the Valiumwill be coreleased by M8BR and Generic Recordings.

Here are some of the new songs I have written for a new album.
Most don't have words just yet.
