The Lost Cause

"I find myself haunted, by a spooky guy named me." - TMBG, "Piece of Dirt"

Welcome back to my obviously under construction website. I'm Karl, host of the Lost Cause. I realize, this isn't terribly impressive to a lot of you out there. I also don't care a whole lot.

I recently renamed this site from the original title "The Neon Migraine". For almost a year it went without a name (or updating either for the most part). Now I have named it "The Lost Cause" because in my experience, no personal page is ever finished. The name is meant totally in jest and should not be read as a cry for help, though honestly I find it a humourous way to describe my own life sometimes.

Here is a brief "thank you" to the guys who helped me get started learning html. Thanks Karl (no not ME) and Marty. Without you guys all of this would have been impossible.. or at least a lot more difficult.

Now.. onto what this page is really about... ME, I'm a graduate of ONU. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts concentrated in Graphic Design. Yes there is a link and no, I don't advise visiting it if you're seeking a college. Check back with it in a few years when they get their design program going strong. I live in Marion, Ohio and work in the newly formed Marketing Department for Field Development Group better known for their work in Intersport Racing and Banana Joes. No, I obviously did not create those sites. I do work there though and it's been a fairly decent job, I have to admit. Better than delivering pizzas...

I am an Alumnus of Theta Chi fraternity , Zeta Kappa chapter. Joining that was probably the best thing I did in college. I was one of those guys that said they would never join a fraternity. The guys I went through with were awesome, but change is the name of the game and there are a lot of new brothers there I don't know. I just hope it's as good an experience for them as it was for me.

As I said before, I'm here to rework my page and make it better for all you happy people. Hopefully, I will be able to work toward that goal more often now. This is a link to a little bit of back story about this site and here is a link to a poem I wrote for Polaris back in my freshman year. Feel free to bookmark this page and please don't forget to sign my guestbook on the way out! The links are likely to change as I make new ones and adapt them to what I want this page to look like.. though honestly I have no idea what that will be. Use them at your own risk.
