Ranger's 1999 Volcanic Vacation

Our 1999 vacation took us to Nevada, Northern California, and Oregon to visit these parks: Crater Lake, Lassen Volcanic and Redwood National Parks, Oregon Caves National Monument and Mount Shasta.

Climbing Lassen Peak volcano was definitely a highlight of the trip, fulfilling a 20 year old goal to climb this mountain that erupted from 1914 to 1921.
