PONC (rhymes with BONK) is a business acronym that stands for "Price Of Non-Conformance", which in layman's terms means putting a price-tag to a programmer's screw-up. The term originated from a Phillip Crosby quality class; a fad of the 1980's that impressed us immensely in that someone could actually get rich doing saying things like "quality is free". PONC, which began life as a negative, has blossomed into a word that we hope to propagate throughout the known world. So far one of our own named his dog "Poncer". This is a start, now do your part! Wouldn't you like to be a poncer too?
