The First Shadow of a Dream!

This is the first Shadow of a Dream, written on the 
same day as the second Shadow of a Dream. We decided to use
the other Shadow of a Dream in the contest because this
one gets a bit odd...


I'm looking at the world 
Through someone else's eyes,
And all I see 
Is a bunch of lies.

Everyone's saying goodbye,
Dropping like flies...
This isn't the way it should be!

Passing over me
There's no way life could be like this
Unless you're living in a dream.



Aliens flying in from the middle of nowhere
And all I can really do is just stare.
They're shooting lazer guns
And getting close to frying my hair.

Now their poking out eyes
And hocking goobers everywhere.
