The Monthly
Bigfoot Report

From September 1991 until December of 2004 Don Keating produced well over 100 issues of a newsletter called the Monthly Bigfoot Report. After the December 2004 issue he placed the newsletter on an extended and indefinate hiatus. Now, Keating is proud to announce the reviving of the newsletter.

This first issue is dated September 2008 and will be sent to anyone who subscribes through e-mail as an Adobe PDF file or through regular Postal service mail in print form. If you are interested in subscring contact Editor Don Keating at the e-mail address below. Below is a sampling of what is in the September 2008 issue...

"The next day I went home and my mother and sister started telling me about what they heard during the night. They didn't see it but they heard screeching sounds and dogs barking and the smell. We had a small terrier dog and they laughed about how the dog ran and hid under the bed. They said what ever it was it ran right beside the house and scared them to death. I went out and looked for foot prints and found a half of a print beside the house in some mud. It was the largest foot-print I ever seen. Now I wish I would have taken a picture of the print but at the time I didn't think about it and didn't have a camera any ways.

I have told a few people about it through the years but don't think they believed me. For a long time my buddy and I would go in the woods looking for it or traces of it but never found any thing. I always thought that it may have been following the railroad tracks and wondered our way looking for food.

We do a lot of off-roading in southern Ohio and I'm always looking to see one again. A couple people told me they wouldn't be out after dark in the woods at one place we go because of sightings off a large ape like man in the area.

Library Presentation to Be Given

I have been invited to give a talk to the Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio public Library on Saturday afternoon October 4th, 2008. The time will be 2 p.m. The public is welcome. The address is 2015 Third Street and I am told the Library is close enough to State Route 8 that you can see it out the windows of the Library. I will give a talk based on the general history of Bigfoot in Ohio, some reports from that part of northeastern Ohio and will also play some audio recordings as well as have plaster castings and visual aides available to browse. I hope to see you there!!"

I hope you find the sample of the newsletter interesting enough to motivate you to at least subscribe for a year and try it out. There are a couple different payment methods you may use, e-mail Don Keating for details.
