Greetings!! On this page, I'm going to try and post as often as possible. This will be information from not only myself, but other members of the EOBIC. Do you have to be a member of the EOBIC to have something posted on this page? No! So if you have something that may be of interest to anyone interested in the subject of Bigfoot, please send in your 'notes' to the e-mail address below and I'll take them into consideration for inclusion here.

On or about December 23rd, 2006 I was notified by a Guernsey county resident that he, his wife and a couple of friends had discovered a track in the mud in a remote portion of the county. He took several photos of the track with, and without his wifes foot beside it. It had definate toes on it. I was told where the track was discovered and so I decided to head to the area on Sunday December 24th.

We (Missey and me) arrived in the early afternoon under sunny and cool conditions. My hopes were minimal of finding the track in the same condition it was as in the photo the man and his wife showed me and Missey, as the discovery had taken place two weeks prior to our learning of it. Over half an inch or rain had fallen in the area just a few days before we got to it. Upon arriving it wasn't difficult to locate where the track had been. The outline of it was still quite clear, but it was weathered to the point that no detail was descernable. The man who took the photo has e-mailed it to me and I am awaiting on his approval to share it with all of you. Hopefully that'll come about soon.

On Sunday December 31st, 2006 I was notified by a central Ohio couple that they had been in a remote area of Guernsey county (the same area coincidently as the previous track discovery) as they were cooking hot dogs and enjoying the mild late December weather. At a point in time while the fire was about to go out and the couple were chatting with another friend, the lady of the three spotted a dark figure, with the aid of the moon light, walk from a tree line towards them, then suddenly go to its right (their left) towards another wood line. The incident took place very close to midnight on the night of December 30th, 2006.

Me and Missey went to the area today and interviewed the husband and wife. I tried a method of me walking to the approxament area where she claimed to have seen it walk to, then to its right. I was talking to her with a set of radios and she came to a conclusion that the individual she spotted could have been as much as eight feet tall, up to three feet broad at the shoulders, dark in color and rather large. Walking back to the area where the couple and Missey were, I spotted a track in a soft area. The track measured out at 14" long, six inches across the ball of the foot and 4 1/2 inches at the heel. The ironic thing about this is that these measurements were plus or minus 1/2 inch the same measurements of the earlier track I wrote about.

The area will be checked again Monday and we will step up our checking of the area. And yes, those of you who may have guessed, all of these incidents took place at Salt Fork State Park.

August 15, 2006

During the weekend of August 5th 2006 three Ohio residents claim to have heard unusual noises in the woods. Two of them claim to have spotted a set of bluish white eyes about eight feet off of the ground, just inside the wood line.

During the weekend of August 12th 2006 Don Keating and several members of the EOBIC traveled to the location of the August 5th weekend events. He learned that not only was there at least three sightings of bluish white eyes seen, there was a 15 inch track discovered and a set of red eyes seen from close range. The set of red eyes were seen with the assistance of cars headlights.

During the same weekend (August 12) on at least two other occasions bluish white eyes were seen, strange whistling sounds were heard on several occasions, very heavy breaking (walking) noises were heard at least twice and other unusual incidents were observed.

On at least two incidents of the blue white eyes, spotlights were shone on them but to no avail. A body form could not be detected. During one of the incidents a night scope was used, again yielding no solid visual contact of what was apparently attached to the blue white eyes. In EVERY incident of eye shine TWO eyes were visible. The week of August 7th there was a full moon, obviously assisting in the spotting of the eyes with no spot light on many occasions.

Please understand than none of these incidents are being called Bigfoot related. I am just presenting them to you with the thought in mind that, on many occasions in the past these types of incidents take place in Bigfoot active areas.

October 26, 2002

We didn't make any trips to the woods during the weekend of October 19'th due to prior engagements. Today, October 26'th, may be a dull and dank day, so the possibility of getting into the woods is limited right now. Besides, all of my volunteers are occupied with other chores at their residences. The forecast for tomorrow looks more promissing with highs near 60 and partly cloudy conditions expected.

I have received an older report of a sighting from north-central Ohio from late 2000. And just this morning I received a reported sighting near Newcomerstown on September 29, 2002. Investigations continue on that report. More to come later.

October 13, 2002

On Saturday, Sarah W, Terry & Treba Jahn and me went out to a location in Coshocton County to nose around. The only thing out of the ordinary that we discovered was that someone or something had messed around with our 'bait' once again. I decided to change the bait and move it to a slightly different location. To see a collection of select photos from the weekend, click on the October 12'th, 2002 weekend photos link.

I have noticed one thing. There were at one time three locations with bait. Two of the locations were in areas where footprints would not necessarily be left if someone or something messed with the bait. So, those two baits were messed with. The third one which hung over an ever lasting puddle of water was never messed with. So......

I took the bait hanging above the puddle and removed it. I then took the bait that had been messed with recently and removed it and hung a new one above a land/water line. The third one, which had been taken and no trace of was ever discovered, is now hanging in a location that if someone/thing is to fool with it, it should leave prints.

Last night, after Sarah had left and we grabbed something to eat in town, Peggy Tillman and her sister Veronica Burchette, Terry & Treba Jahn and me went back to the area where the baits are located. At one time with the aide of a nightscope, I spotted eyes on two occasions within 10 seconds of each time. Peggy told me that she had been watching the eyes with her naked eyes as well. The eyes traveled down hill right to left. Some movement was heard as it walked along.

Sunday afternoon, today, we went back to the area and nosed around. We discovered nothing out of the ordinary.

October 7, 2002

Sunday afternoon, October 6'th, 2002, is one that seven members of the Tri-State Bigfoot Study Group will remember for a long time to come.

The day started with Don Keating and seven members of the TSBSG meeting for breakfast at April's Country Kitchen for breakfast. At the meal, several ideas were tossed around as to where to go and hike. It was finally decided to go to an unspecified location in Coshocton County. (For specific reasons, the exact locations will remain confidential while investigations are ongoing). A walk was taken back to a highwall to check it out for those who had never been there. On the way back idle chit chat filled the air. Five of the seven members of the hike party were in front of me as I lingered behind looking around for tracks. As I was looking down, I did discover a single track at the edge of a lane where a trail for vehicles had gone through. I advised the parties of the hike that I had just discovered some type of track. Measurements indicated it was 13 1/2" long by 5" at the toes and 3 1/2" at the heel. Further investigations showed another print that was not quite as clear, but had the same measurements. It was walking in the direction of the highwall. The first track was walking away from the highwall.

As all of us were standing at a turn in the trail talking about different topics, a sound of what appeared to be a single slap of wood on wood came from the hill to our west. The noise seemed to originate no more than 100 yards away. To see a group of photos from the day including the print, go to Field Research Photos to check out who went, where they went, etc.

A while later we traveled to a different location in the same vicinity to check on some expirements near the location of the newly discovered tracks. Results of the discoveries of the expirement locations will be posted later. Much more to come.
