1 - APRIL 2006 AT SALT FORK STATE PARK IN GUERNSEY COUNTY
Employees in the kitchen of the lodge reported that they observed a Bigfoot creature pulling something off of a tree near the lodge. The employees reported this to more than one person who works at the lodge. I received the report from a good friend of mine who works at Salt Fork lodge. It was reported the creature was black in color and at least seven feet tall. It was also reported that it was a female.
2 - JUNE 2006 NEAR INDIAN CAMP IN GUERNSEY COUNTY
I received a report from a Cambridge resident that he had learned of a gentleman who lives near this community in a remote part of Guernsey County. The informant tells me that the man claims on several occasions to have seen what he describes a “chimpanzee type creatures” on his property. They are light in color. On one occasion in particular, he said that he had a large coil of fencing material that was quite heavy lying on the ground. The following morning the coil of fencing had been moved. The informant notes it would have taken quite a bit of strength to move it. It should also be noted these Chimp-type creatures were always observed walking on two legs and between four and five and a half feet tall.
3 - JUNE 16TH SALT FORK STATE PARK IN GUERNSEY COUNTY
While visiting the park picnic area with relatives and friends, a two-year-old girl was playing in the picnic area. It was near sunset or 8:30 p.m. when “Ellie” was running and playing near the north side of the picnic area. Suddenly she stopped. She pointed out to a relative a short time later that she had seen a “cowman” standing at the side of the open picnic area and she also said that the cow man had made a “moo” type of noise.
On the evening of July 1st I was able to talk to the then three-year-old girl. I asked her a couple of questions before her attention was drawn elsewhere. I asked her how the cowman had walked. I said, “did it walk like Cobey (the family dog) or did it walk like me (on two legs). She said it walked like me. I also asked what color it was, black like the dog, white like me but about the time she was going to answer me she started running and playing with the dog. I never got an answer.
The say children are the best eyewitnesses because they don’t lie; make things up, and so on. Did “Ellie” spot a Bigfoot in the picnic area that evening? We may never know.
4 - JUNE 18TH NEAR COSHOCTON IN COSHOCTON COUNTY
On the evening of June 24th I held a meeting of the Tri-State Bigfoot Study Group. I also ran an announcement about the up-coming meeting in local newspapers. The Times Reporter in New Philadelphia was one of those papers. As a result of that article a lady by the name of Jodi attended. Jodi lives in Uhrichsville, Ohio, or just 15 miles east of Newcomerstown on U.S. 36.
Jodi spoke up during the meeting and began to tell of a sighting that she had during the night of June 17th – 18th near Coshocton while camping overnight with family and friends. She said that at around 3:30 a.m. she had been hearing some noises that sounded like bull frogs, but sounded like someone trying to imitate the frogs. She said the she had some buns in a package as well other food in storage outside of her tent.
While listening to the noises, she suddenly became aware of something, or someone, messing around outside of her tent in the camping area. She was lying in her tent which had the flap closed and saw the silhouette of something, or someone quite large walking past her tent. Afterwards she took inventory of all of the adults and children in her party and none of them had walked around or near her tent.
When I went to the location with one other member of the EOBIC, we checked around quite a bit. When I first arrived at the location, I though no way, it’s too populated. However after looking around more, I learned her camping area was in the most remote part of the camping area. It was also within 50 feet of a bank of the Walhonding River. I was only about to determine two things about the individual Jodi spotted that June night. It was apparently dark or black in color and quite tall. From knowing about the size of the tent, it would have been six feet tall or more.
5 - JUNE 2006 IN MORGAN COUNTY
A lady and her friend were hiking the trail near the Burr Oak lodge. This state park is located in two counties. Morgan County and Hocking County, Ohio. The lodge is located in Morgan County. As they were hiking the trail, they spotted someone, or something walking rapidly through the woods. Both women spotted it and the friend of the lady who reported it thought it could have been a bear. The lady who reported it though knew otherwise as the thing they spotted never went down on all fours, it remained on two legs the entire time.
6 - JULY 2006 IN MEDINA COUNTY
I received a phone call from a good friend of mine in Medina County. She told me that she had learned of a sighting that a motorist had in July of 2006. She reported to me that the motorist spotted some deer in an open field and huddled together, acting nervous. It turns out they were looking in the direction if an apparent Bigfoot creature. The motorist described it as “a bear on 2 legs near the wood line. It was dark in color. It may have dropped onto four legs as it entered the woods. It was very black in color”.
7 - OCTOBER 23RD NEAR LODI IN MEDINA COUNTY
While searching along River Styxx road and Poe road about few days ago I got a glimpse of something reddish color running in the fields heading towards a woods line. I couldn't get a clear look at it but it was running on 2 legs. It was too far away to get a good video or a picture of it.
8 - DECEMBER 30TH SALT FORK STATE PARK IN GUERNSEY COUNTY
On Sunday December 31st, 2006 I was notified by a central Ohio couple that they had been in a remote area of Guernsey county (the same area coincidently as the previous track discovery) as they were cooking hot dogs and enjoying the mild late December weather. At a point in time while the fire was about to go out and the couple were chatting with another friend, the lady of the three spotted a dark figure, with the aid of the moon light, walk from a tree line towards them, then suddenly go to its right (their left) towards another wood line. The incident took place very close to midnight on the night of December 30th, 2006.
Missey and me went to the area today (December 31st, 2006) and interviewed the husband and wife. I tried a method of me walking to the approximate area where she claimed to have seen it walk to, then to its right. I was talking to her with a set of radios and she came to a conclusion that the individual she spotted could have been as much as eight feet tall, up to three feet broad at the shoulders, dark in color and rather large. Walking back to the area where the couple and Missey were, I spotted a track in a soft area. The track measured out at 14" long, six inches across the ball of the foot and 4 1/2 inches at the heel.
