"On December 18'th, 2001 I was on my way back home to Columbus from Pennsylvania and decided to stop and look around Wills Creek in Coshocton county around 11 AM. The gravel road that I research on was littered with branches and small debris from the wind. There was two guys, both in their 60's, cleaning it up for the county. After stopping and talking to them for a few min., I went ahead and asked the question... "Seen any big hairy creatures on two legs that aint a bear?!" The one guy quickly said yes, about two years ago, he and his daughter were less than two miles from where we where, they were walking down a dirt path to a small lake that they fish at. Half way down the path, something very large stood straight up from the grass/bushes, and just walked away from them. He and his daughter looked at each other and both asked: what was that?" He couldn't give any details but that it was very tall and dark in color.
He stated that he and his daughter just wrote it off as a bear. I asked if it stayed on two legs as it walked away, and he said yes, it never got on all fours. I said, " You know, bears don't stay on two legs for very long when walking, and the bears around here are not very big." He replied, " I know", with a look about him that he knows what he saw. The other guy chimed in saying that perhaps his friend saw his wife, but not much reaction from the witness to that. They both seemed pretty straight forward, and to be pretty nice. Not much detail here, but at least it's something!"
