December 11'th, 2001 @ 4:30 a.m. in Coshocton County

The following report was submitted to me by Janice N of Coshocton. Janice has been a wealth of information and reports in the past for the EOBIC.
During the early morning hours of Tuesday December 11'th, 2001, Carol J. of Coshocton, Ohio was driving down State Route 16 heading towards Conesville to the east just inside the Coshocton/Muskingum county line. It was a foggy night and the time was around 4:30 a.m. Carol was finishing her nightly delivery route with newspapers. Since it was a foggy night, she was driving cautiously at less than 45 mph. With the foggy conditions, Carol had her headlights on the low beams. As she was driving she suddenly noticed movement on the left side of the road, or to the north. She switched the headlights to high beam. When she first spotted the creature it was at the guardrail on the left of the road. As it crossed the road, it took one of its hands and shielded its eyes.
Carol noted the creature was hairy and was at least two to three feet taller than what she is and she stands 5' 6" tall. No mention of the color of hair, but I'd presume it was dark in color.
When Carol arrived at a local gas station, she ran into a friend who also drove a newspaper delivery route by the name of Danny N. Danny lives in Coshocton as well. Danny later mentioned that Carol was "noticeably shaken" when he saw her at the gas station that morning.
This sighting took place very near a notorious location or stretch of SR 16 in Coshocton County, Ohio. It has been reported that on at least two other occasions a Bigfoot type creature was seen crossing that stretch of the road.
