Incident took place two miles east of Lore City on the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad near Leatherwood Creek.
Cloudy skies with a slight haze and 40 degrees.
Distance to the creature(s) during both sightings was several hundred yards.
The estimated height of the creatures was about 8' for the adult female and four feet for the juvenile.
The color was likely black.
When asked what the couple noticed about the creature(s), their response was..... "Nothing major about the big creature, but the juvenile creature was always hunkered down like a "chimpanzee". It "bounced" around as it moved. The small creature was never upright on two legs like the adult."
In my notes, I typed the following..... "The couple is now carrying a pair of binoculars with them every day they walk the RR. Both sightings; the creature(s) left while going down the hill on the left side of the RR. The second sighting did not include the small one. The left side of the RR is on the north side. The tracks are, on average, 15' higher in elevation than the creek below. There were three dogs with the couple and they never reacted to the creatures. After the sighting @ 8:30 the couple walked to where the two creatures were. They found nothing. They walked back to where they had been 25 minutes earlier heading back home. The husband felt as if something was watching him. He turned around and spotted the adult on the tracks, where it was originally spotted with the juvenile, apparently looking at he and his wife. He told his wife to look and she too saw the adult for the second time.
