Alvie joined the Moose as a member of
the Lancaster Lodge #955 in March of 1990. He is a Past Governor and has
served as Sergeant of Arms in 1990, as Prelate in 1991 while Lodge received
a Merit Award, as Governor in 1992 attending International Convention in
Orlando Florida, as Past Governor in 1993 while Lodge
received a Merit Award. Governor in 1995 while Lodge received a Merit Award
and attended the International Convention in
Orlando Florida. Past Governor in 1996 while Lodge received a Merit Award.
He has served as Ohio State District
8 Moose Association Family Day Chairman in 1992, he has also been Membership
Chairman of Lancaster Lodge #955 from 1993 till 1995 while Lodge received
Quota Awards for those years also he has received
Certificate of Achievement as Membership Chairman during 1994-
1995 when the Lodge received a Merit Award. Alvie was the representative
of the Ohio Moose Higher Degree Council during 1996-97. He has served on
the Ritual Team as Prelate and Governor since shortly
after he became a member in 1990.
Alvie is also a Member of the Buckeye
Legion #192 since March of 1991 and he became a life member. He is a Member
of the 25 Club in the 100 Division. Alvie received
his Fellowship Degree in June of 1995 at the International Convention in
Orlando Florida and became a life member of the Fellowship
Degree. Alvie was awarded a life membership to the Lancaster Ohio
Lodge #955 in 1996 for his many works and dedication to the lodge.
He was Governor while Lodge went under
major construction remolding in 1995, doubling the size of the Lodge.

He is a family man with three wonderful
children Angela, Jessica, and Alvie Jr. Two grandchildren
Riley and Caleb. He is also blessed with the most
wonderful and supporting wife, Debbie.
