The Trees Don't Move No More

Scene 1:
The Headlines read, "Y2K to happen in 2 Days"/
People was searching for New ways to perform a fools praise/
The Muslims went to the Mosque, the Buddhists Went to the temple/
The Bloodsuckers of the poor laughed at our Lost and brainwashed mentals/
Scientists developed experimental solutions with only thirty-eight/
Hours left and counting, death amounting in our worried state/
The Cults awaited in wonder as Adults created a number/
Of excuses for they Ceeds in case the Sky seperated in thunder/
All because they underrated a blunder, the Planet was in a panic/
Had the population frantic chasing what they took for granted/
As december 31st approached end, we standed lost and stranded/
Everything quit moving when the Earth should've slanted/

Scene 2:
New Years Day midnight, 2000 when chaos erupted/
The order of Nature disrupted as our Mind state's corrupted/
Running in mass confusion, stuck in the last illusion/
As Buildings collapsed, we relapsed in unmasked delusion/
Screams of fear broke the silence from an overload of violence/
People were no longer valiant since nature lost it's balance/
Greed replaced need, kats getting high off laced weed/
Civilization, cities and towns, burned down at an unsafe speed/
As some awaited a second coming, others had weapons gunning/
The sound of death been drumming, I was expectin' nothing/
But was facing my own wars, stress that made my dome sore/
The forming lines of a poem swore that our homes were no more/

Scene 3:
Weeks later-The Aftermath, the final disaster passed/
Though it was a master wrath, I have to laugh at last/
My only conclusion is that we are lonely and ruined/
It lets me Know we are losing, when we don't Know what we doing/
Thousands to millions slaughtered, adults, children, daughters/
All the killing recorded, Now rebuilding is ordered/
In one day, we ended more life than a lifetime of gunplay/
It was ironic in some ways cause it happened on Sunday/
A time when lives are praying, instead crime and slaying/
The awful cries replaying and in my Mind it's staying/
Plagued by nightmares of this war, what was it all for?/
I stand at the shore of this wilderness but the Trees don't move no more/
