Springtime Thoughts

The Wind Blows causing the trees to do a springtime dance/
Whispering Wind Chime chants throw me into a dim mind trance/
Sitting in a Divine stance, as the thunder unfolds/
Revealing Wonders untold from a hundred one(years) old/
Tears run cold on warm cheeks, the fury of the storm peaks/
Cloaked like a Uniformed beast with a secret-sworn speak/
Into the trance I'm drawn deep, seeing traces of my being/
Tucked into spaces of my reading, from the faces that I'm fleeing/
Sometimes I'm so sensitive, I wonder what's the sense to live/
Others think they meant to die, but me? I'm sent to live/
This life's competitive, only the strong survive/
But the meek inherit the Earth? Well, then, who stays alive?/
We pollute our bodies with intoxicants, inhale smoke instead of oxygen/
Running from the breath of Life, seeking shelter that blocks the wind/
Blazing glocks defend, yet it's used to drop the men/
Forming thoughts don't End, so I never stop my pen/
The body rots, my friend, but New Life springs from Old/
Heated things turn cold, but the hatred stings my soul/
The hand I'm dealt-I fling and fold, I'll get a New one next hand/
They can trap us if they want, but Life finds a way to expand!/
