I am a computer literate mechanical engineer with 24 years of industrial experience. During the last two years I had the opportunity to re-engineer myself with education and retraining in the areas of SAP R/3 ABAP/4 programming, PP, MM, SD and F/I modules, after a 6-month course in Oracle PL/SQL, Dev2000, SQL, and Visual Basic 5.0 training. I feel I am ready for the market to implement SAP R/3 as a team player.

While working as a contract engineer at GEAE, I also had access to a JTPA program titled " Accelerated Training in Manufacturing Engineering " at the University of Cincinnati for a year. This was a one-year program conducted on Fridays and Saturdays. We learned all about materials, manufacturing processes, Robotics, Design for Assembly (according to Boothroyd & Dewhurst), Design for Manufacturing (Taguchi methodology, DOE, cost reduction, quality improvement...), Autocad, and Automod and have visited local heat treat facilities and Honda plant.

I am very much interested in SAP/Oracle Mfg implementation projects that can use my skills and experience. I am available for further training to enhance my value for the company that I will be working for. In the past I have worked with outside vendors and factories in the manufacture of aircraft engine components to complete mil spec. I have been exposed to most of the manufacturing processes, from specifications to production to shipping during the last 24 years. My transition to SAP R/3 concepts will be a natural one.

With my computer skills, work experience in US industries as a Project Engineer, R&D Engineer and Program Manager, I am well qualified to fulfill the responsibilities of an SAP implementation professional at your company to implement SAP R/3 with speed, simplicity and efficiency.

• Developed MS ACCESS database for implementation of cost reduction ideas.
