Evolutionary scientists tell us quite emphatically that it takes millions of years for rocks to form. The September-November issue of the magazine, "Creation ex nihilo" pg. 6 has an interesting article. It discusses a flowline pipe in which natural gas flows from one of the gas wells of Sonat Minerals of Louisiana, USA. This well was drilled in January of 1997, shut down until all construction of the above ground pipelines were completed, and began producing in March of the same year. The contents of the flow was "natural gas, condensate and salt water from the host rock layer". This pipe was only in use for THREE MONTHS when it became obvious that there was some sort of problem. The pipeline was shut down in June, 1997 and inspected. They found that something was plugging the pipe to the point that there was practically nothing coming through it at all. After attempting to use high pressure and also mechanical methods to unplug it, this four inch diameter pipe was finally cut open and they found that a very long section of it was plugged with new crystallization of SOLID ROCK! A sample of this rock was sent to a laboratory (Petrolite Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri, USA) for chemical analysis. The result? They found that it was 84% calcium carbonate, a common rocky crystallization. A sample of this pipe is now at the Creation magazine's headquarters in Kentucky, USA.
The June-August edition of this same magazine (pg. 6)has an article on the fossilization of a round coil of metal wire as it was encased within solid rock, a "calcareous sandstone". It was found by the seashore of Eighty Mile Beach in western Australia.
Then there is the issue of September-November, 1999, pg. 6. Here, a rock was found by the sea in Ventura county, California, USA. Within this rock was found encased the corroded remains of a spark plug deduced to be from the 1950s which protrudes from the solid rock.
Again, on the back page of the same magazine of Jude-August 2000 is similar article with photos. This time, a British ship the HMS Birkenhead sank off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa in 1852. in 1986 a salvaging crew recovered glass bottles projecting from rock wherein they were encased. Millions of years? Not hardly.
