Joshua Adam Gulch was born bright and early at 9:40 AM one cheery Monday morning at Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. The date was 17 August, 1981. It could be noted that I share a birthday with such personalities as actor Robert De Niro (1943), Apollo-13 mission director Gene Kranz (1933), famed Air Force U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers (1929), and Emperor Karl Habsburg-Lotharingen of Austria (1887). The son of David and Sandra Gulch and brother to Shawn, young Joshua apparently did something wrong in his early years in such that his parents dumped onto him an idiot of a sibling in the form of a sister sometime in early 1983. Josh still has to put up with her crap to this very day. But enough with that. Back to the story.

In September 1986, Josh began Kindergarten at Shoreland Elementary School. There, he learned such fundamental information as how to write cursive and multiplication. He also learned that pencil sharpeners don't work well on crayons. Oops. It was while he was at Shoreland that he made the friends who still pester him today (In a good way, of course! Yeah... ). Andy Black, Bryan MacAfee, and Jeff Osthimer. Finally, after many-a-grueling years there, he finally made it to Jefferson Junior High School in 1994. Wahoo 'n stuff. It was while he was in Junior High that he first got an online personality, Raptor1924 (1924 being the year that Velociraptor was discovered in Mongolia). Yes, MacAfee and Josh had quite the fun times agitating people. It was around this time, in 1995, when Josh created Jimmy Joe and the BOX, which would lead to a sequel and subsequent motion picture projects. And during the Summer of 1996, JG Labs, Inc. was founded. The precursor to the modern day JG Enterprises, Inc., JG Labs specialized more in the scientific fields, particularly Time Travel, of which many machines were built in cooperation with BSM Electronics, Inc. Andy helped, too. Eventually, the prospect of damage to the Space-Time Continuum forced JG and BSM to cut back on the Time Travel field.

In 1996, Josh made it on to Whitmer High School. During his four years there, he met such personalities as Jake and Dan Norton, Ian Malcolm, Angela Melzak, Aliesha Daleska and Kresta Opperman. In 1998, Josh began to stick his toe into the pool of the Web, when he began to do web pages. (That can be read about here) On 11 April the original HomePage was commissioned. This would begin Josh's conquest of the Internet, leading to a lot of sites that no one really cares to go to (This one being no exception). As Josh progressed through High School, he gained more and more power. In 1999, JG Labs, having taken in so many different fields of work switched its name to the more-inclusive JG Enterprises. And in September 2000, Josh found himself with a relationship in the increasingly shaky Belair-Gulch 1999 mission, which eventually ended after a year of hardships. But all was not lost, for that opened Josh up to the opportunity of a lifetime, and as a result, mission Opperman-Gulch 2000 was begun in October 2000. Things went awry and the mission was cancled, but Josh wound up at the University of Toledo, causing more trouble than he should.

Yes, the Future is just beginning.

And Josh shall soon rule it.
