Here's Josh with some of his wrestling awards. He was about 9 here. He started wrestling when he was 5 and did pretty well, but when Dad started the business, and had less time to go to practices, Josh lost interest. It was a demanding schedule to follow. They practiced 2 hrs a night, 3 days a week and then 12 all day Saturday matches a yr. With the stress of the business, it was just too much. Maybe Josh will pick it up again in school. |

Josh keeps busy with sports. His favorite is soccer, we're only sorry it's such a short season for us here. He also bowls on a youth league and golfs with his grandfather. Grandpa says he's a "natural". Hehe, ya know how grandpa's are! Soon Josh might have a chance to beat Grandpa at his own game. Josh already can make some pars and stays a couple strokes behind Grandpa! |
(a reaction to being self-employed!)
This is part of the sideyard, where we, our dogs, and a normally a couple extra kids, spend our time. We bought this place as a fixer-upper. It was 50 yrs old, built by the first owner, and we are the second owners! Some rooms hadn't even been finished! Of course, the others badly needed redone! We remodeled the kitchen and bath, added a utility room so we could move the hotwater tank out of the corner of the kitchen! hehe We finished the loft into a huge 3rd bedroom. We added this porch with french doors out to it. We fenced in the yard. We put in new windows and sided. We cemented the garage floor and we're waiting on the contractors to get some time to pave the drive. Oh... lots of stuff.. there are still things we'd like to do. It's located on a quiet back road, houses are kinda tight, but the neighbors are nice. Josh, as an only child, has the benefit of many friends within reach. It's also close to a large wooded area, and close to the beach! It's not big or fancy, but we're "bonded". |
Yep, important enough to mention. I love my '97 Honda Accord LX! It's in this wonderful Bordeaux Red Pearl. Hey, ya gotta get around, ya might as well like your ride. We lease, but it's mine for 2 more years! After that, who knows! Depends on how business is going! |
