Now referred to as "the former Marilyn Manson guitarist", Daisy Berkowitz, who now goes by his real name, Scott Mitchell, was never given the credit he deserved. In my opinion, he was one the most talented guitarists of the nineties. Daisy made Marilyn Manson what they are today. In 1989, Daisy and Mr. Manson formed the band Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids ( later shortened to Marilyn Manson ) with 3 others. Daisy originally did drum machine programming and played lead guitar. Later he only played lead guitar. In May of 1996, Daisy left the band for "creative differences". After that, Mr. Manson said in an interview that his leaving the band left them stronger than ever. He also stated that Daisy "just happened to be hired". In my opinion, the band was not left stronger than ever, they need Daisy and I think Mason knows that. And we all know that Daisy was NOT "just hired". Daisy Berkowitz is as responsible as Mr. Manson for making the band what it is. He deserves so much more credit and respect than he's ever gotten. I've heard people say that Manson is better off without him. Well, the truth is Daisy is much better off without Marilyn Manson!
