Jennifer suggested that I attempt to illustrate the story...that is, draw the various characters that we, the authors, have invented! I invited anyone who introduced a new character to give me a physical description to draw from. Leigh Anne brought in Gretta Heinrick (later,Bell)...a beautiful Swiss immigrant artist with a past!!!
In the show, Andrew's uncle, the doctor, was often mentioned, but never named.
For the Running Story, we decided to give him a name, and Jennifer decided to give him a wife...her description went into my interpretation...I used my imagination for Andrew's uncle...Introducing Andrew's Uncle Cyrus and Aunt Rose!!!
And from Philadelphia, courtesy of Leigh Anne, we have the jolly Mrs. White, who was Colleen and Andrew's landlady when they first moved there!!!
Also from Philadelphia, I brought in Andrew's new employer, Dr. Nathaniel Pennington, and his beautiful young wife, Alexandra!!!
Nathaniel and Alexandra are now the proud parents of Natalia Claire Pennington!!!
Claire gave us Alexandra's lovely younger sister, aspiring medical student Erin Harrison!!!

Alexandra's biological father, Vladimir Sokolov (my addition) has come to Colorado Springs with his new bride, from Gretta's past, (again by Leigh Anne) her nanny, Anna, who travelled with Gretta to America, posing as her mother, then later met her husband in Switzerland.
Leigh Anne brought Jamey to Colorado Springs. Caught picking pockets and robbing Hank's Saloon, the Sokolovs have taken her in, and Jamey is now reforming. Won't Daniel be happy?!
Leigh Anne also brought in the lovely Miss Ida Hamilton. Ida came to fill the position left at the school when Mrs. Slicker had her baby. Since Mr. Sokolov was already teaching there successfully, the town decided to expand the school to accomodate two teachers.
Dr. Ryan Bell left his position at his uncle Nathaniel's clinic to go West to Colorado Springs! He figures somewhere in Gretta's past, as well as her present and future as her husband! Jennifer introduced him to our story!
And I added Ryan's mother, Dr. Pennington's younger sister, the famous novelist, Daphne Pennington Bell!!!
And Nathaniel and Daphne's mother, the "revolutionary" Clara Pennington!!!
