Welcome To Our Collection Of Home Plans

"The Artifact Collection"

Artifact :
1) an object of human workmanship.
2) a product of artistic endeavor.

The word artifact, usually refers to prehistoric Indian Relics
such as arrowheads, bird points, spears, axes, celts, etc...
The artifacts, as defined above, are rare, and have stood
the test of time. It is our hopes, that all Cedar Creek Homes,
will become artifacts, standing the test of time, for you
and your family, and for our future generations.

We have adopted the names of the four Cultural Periods
of the American Indians, for the four series in our
Artifact Collection of Home Plans. The four Cultural
Periods were Paleo, Archaic, Woodland, and Mississippian.

The Paleo Period was from 15,000 to 10,000 years ago.
The Archaic Period was from 10,500 to 3,000 years ago.
The Woodland Period was from 3,000 to 1,000 years ago.
The Mississippian Period was from 1,000 to 200 years ago.

The name of each home plan within each series,
reflects the proper name of certain artifacts which
were made during that particular Cultural Period.

We hope this small lesson in American History will
help you to understand prehistoric Indian Artifacts
and the history of early man.

And when you make an appointment to discuss the
possibility of purchasing, or Building, a Cedar Creek Home,
I will show you some genuine prehistoric artifacts
which I have collected, and tell you some history, about them.
