Creating

i like play-doh. i squeeze it and warm it in my hands. i like to roll it into
snakes, always snakes. this is a big, thick one. i wonder if it stretches. grasping
it between my fingers, i pull and it doubles in length. i think i will keep this
one. i will call it Time.
i made paper today. i started with nothing but pieces, and blended
them together really fine. then i squished the water out of them, and laid them out
to dry. voila, paper. that was fun. i think i will call it Sky. kinda plain looking though.
i like to paint; color is cool. i like a lot of blue and green. blue, i will call Water
and green will be Plants. lots and lots of different greens.
glitter. that is what i need. lots and lots of sparkly glitter with one big shiny
glob right there. that is totally awesome. oh, and a smaller glop right there. this
one will be the Sun; that one will be the Moon, all those others i will call...
um, Stars. yeah, i like stars.
i think next i need some texture, something slippery and something feathery.
yep, those look good. gosh, there is a lot of blue and green to fill up. how about
i make them to be able to make themselves?
oops, i forgot furry. i definitely need some furry things. it that it? oh man! have
i got a great idea! i will make it out of clay. and if i breathe my breath
into it, i could teach it to talk to me. we could hang and do some kewl stuff together.

One day while they were hanging out in the garden, God told Clayman about creating.
"art is fun. you should try some sometime."
Some time later, after there were many claymen on terra, Red Clayman spoke to Tan Clayman and said:
He is Alpha and Omega. He stretches forth time and holds it in the palms of his hands.
He created the firmament to separate the waters and called it heaven.
And the earth brought forth grass and trees, each with fruit after their own kind.
He said, Let there be lights in the firmament, the greater light to rule the day,
the lesser light to rule the night, and let there be stars.
God created the sea creatures and every living bird. He blessed them and told them
to be fruitful and multiply.
God made the beasts of the Earth after their kind. And God created man and He blessed them.
From that day forward, there was Religion.
