"TERRITORIAL IMPERATIVE"

August 13, 1997

J.R. and Bobby were shocked to learn that Wes could actually reinherit everything that was Jock's. They have now begun an investigation to see if he is who he says he is. Wes is beginning to win over Miss Ellie after recounting their second honeymoon at Punk's cabin. Also, Sue Ellen visited Wes and told him that she hoped he stayed around, seeing as he was driving J.R. crazy. And anything which drives J.R. crazy makes her happy.

Speaking of driving J.R. crazy, the Valentine Girl campaign is beginning to wear him down, especially after seeing two greasemonkeys at a gas station ogling her picture and when Mandy was asked to autograph her photo for two guys while dining out with him.

J.R. met with B.D. Calhoun, who has decided to accept J.R.'s offer, and is using natives to carry in equipment into the fields to blow them up. J.R. is nervous that it may turn out to be another Bay of Pigs scandal, but Calhoun assured him that his name will be kept absolutely secret and all will go as planned.

Cliff met with April by the pool and asked if she might be interested in selling him her 5% of Ewing Oil. She took his card, and promised to think it over, having been frustrated by J.R. who told her that Jack's share wasn't a whole lot.

Donna asked Ray if he was having an affair. He said it was none of her business, but no, he wasn't sleeping with Jenna. As she left, Donna assured him that even though she had a hard time living with him, she still loved him.

Jenna has been having stomach troubles, and was worried she may have an ulcer. Bobby, Pam, and Christopher found delinquent Charlie hanging out with a biker gang. Bobby, now the Dallas equivalent of Jackie Chan, quickly disabled the gang and took Charlie back to Jenna's, who was furious at Bobby for intruding into their business. Later, Jenna received a phone call from the doctor, who told her that he feared her pains are due to ___________, which horrified our poor, downtrodden Jenna.
