"RETURN TO CAMELOT"

August 6, 1997

After a recap of Pam's discovery of Bobby in the shower and another exciting new arrangement of the theme song and opening titles (which includes Dack Rambo), Pam freaked out for a minute and Bobby followed her out of the shower. She told him about her dream, though it didn't bother him in the least that she dreamt of him dying and marrying Mark instead. They both told the members of their respective families of their engagement, and no one was happy for them, especially Jenna, who moved out of Southfork into a crappy little house to which Charlie refused to invite any of her friends for fear of embarrassment.

Meanwhile, the homicidal blonde lady (Katherine?) who was responsible for framing Jenna before Pam made the mistake of falling asleep was apparently lost in the great "Dallas" void with Leslie Stewart, Connie (Bobby's first secretary), and Pam's aerobics studio.

Now firmly back in reality, J.R. and Cliff were both worried about the rapid drop in the price of oil. J.R. had been forced to shut down several wells and has had to lay off many employees. Cliff was also between a rock and a hard place, and Jamie suggested forming a committee to pressure the government into putting a tax on oil so that the prices will rise again. Cliff shot down the idea, and then formed a committee to pressure the government into putting a tax on oil so that the prices will rise again, which infuriated Jamie. So that he can get Cliff out of the limelight, J.R. suggested sending Donna to Washington as their representative, due to her considerable political clout. The committee seemed very pleased with the idea.

One of Ewing Oil's wells was sabotaged and exploded, causing a widespread fire throughout the field. After it was extinguished, Bobby ordered that the field be shut down until the saboteur is apprehended.

Ray decided that being the foreman of Southfork wasn't fulfilling enough for him, and he wanted to start his own ranching and breeding business, and wanted Clayton to go in with him basically doing the exact same thing he was going to do in Pam's dream. And, funny enough, as Ray and Clayton interviewed the potential foremen of the project, one applicant just happened to be the spitting image of Ben Stivers, but with a cooler name--Wes Parmalee, whom they hired. With Pam's amazing psychic abilities, it's amazing she's on "Dallas" and not "Twin Peaks"!

J.R. reassured Mandy that it wouldn't be long until he had Sue Ellen firmly on the bottle and out of Southfork. Mandy confronted Sue Ellen and clued Sue Ellen into J.R.'s plan. In a classic "Dallas" scene, J.R. brought a bottle of vodka into Sue Ellen's room, but she tossed it aside and seduced him. Just before he was swept away on a tidal wave of passion, Sue Ellen pulled away and told a very disappointed J.R. that was a preview of what she'd be doing with other men while he was with Mandy. She then returned the bottle of vodka to his room, stating that her hatred of him was enough to keep her sober. Later on Sue Ellen hired some guy to do something bad with J.R. and Mandy. While J.R. and Mandy dined, the guy accidentally bumped into them. "Sorry", he said, and then said "sorry" again when they were out of earshot, but this time with an eerily sinister grin...
