Sue Ellen auditioned models to be the new Valentine Girl, but confessed that none of them quite had that Mandy Winger sparkle.
Cliff couldn't give Pam her money like he promised, so he went to see Jeremy Wendell and asked for a loan--$6 1/2 million, half of what he owes Pam. Jeremy accepted on the terms that Cliff put up 30% of Wentworth Tool & Die as collateral. Cliff happily gave Pam the money, who still wants the other half. Cliff also had a chance meeting with April, who asked where she could find Jamie so she could fight for her share of Ewing Oil. Cliff said she was in L.A. and to ask Sue Ellen for more info.
Ray, Jenna, and Charlie bonded at the bowling alley, while Donna agreed to fly out to Washington to meet with Senator Dowling, who seems to be quite interested in her seeing as she's the only woman who's around to disagree with him. Ray and Clayton also decided to return to the horse cutting business, frustrating Miss Ellie's plans for her and Clayton to go on a cruise to Europe to get away from life at Southfork for a while.
While out shopping with Pam, Sue Ellen quite literally bumped into B.D. Calhoun, who managed to nick her keys to Southfork. (For the record, Pam and Sue Ellen both think he's quite good looking. Use your own judgement on this one.) Calhoun also managed to put together a homemade time bomb and used Sue Ellen's keys to slip into Southfork at night and switch J.R.'s alarm clock with the bomb. That'll make the Ewings a *very* nuclear family! (Bad joke.)
