After Mandy signed her movie contract, she was confronted by Sue Ellen, who revealed that everything from Valentine Lingerie to Bruce Harvey was all a set-up masterminded by her. Mandy was shocked and told Sue Ellen that it really was a shame J.R. didn't appreciate her. Later on, Sue Ellen dragged J.R. into her room to watch some TV. In particular, a talk show featuring America's most successful businesswomen. The first guest was the woman who conquered a man's industry, the president of Valentine Lingerie--Sue Ellen Ewing. J.R. was amazed and applauded Sue Ellen for her brilliant scheme. "I learned from the best," she replied. J.R. could only smile in return.
Jenna stormed into Bobby's office and told him about Pam's wild offer. She then told him that she was selling the boutique so she could sever her last tie with him, and would hand him the check. Later on, she visited Ray and told him that she was keeping the baby and about Pam's visit. She said her anger had passed. She realized both her and Pam were willing to do anything for Bobby. Ray replied flippantly that it was nice that *some* women were still willing to do anything for their man (yeah, Ray, when the man is *worth* doing anything for!).
Bobby left for South America to invalidate Wes's claims. He has a detective out attempting to contact all of the American businessmen working in South America back at the time of the crash.
A worried J.R. called up B.D. Calhoun in Saudi Arabia and pleaded with him to abort the mission, but Calhoun refused. J.R. then met with a government agent and told him that he'd spill the beans on Calhoun if he was granted protection from both the government AND Calhoun.
Jamie returned to Barnes-Wentworth for one last look around the office she never worked in and said goodbye to Pam. She told Pam that she could save Cliff from his latest failure, and she didn't want to see him get hurt, especially after all of the marital bliss they had together. Once again, she went to Cliff in his office and told him she had the solution to his problem, and did he want to hear it. Cliff said he didn't want to hear the answer from someone who worked in the oil fields in Alaska, especially one who was a woman. Jamie told him the reason why he couldn't perform in bed was because he was still a whiney little boy, and stormed out. But come on, folks. If you were married to Jamie...could you perform?
Whilst J.R. and April dined, they were approached by Jeremy Wendell, who reminded J.R. that he would soon be in control of Ewing Oil. April was surprised to see J.R. so intimidated, and said that maybe he could use an ally with some feminine prowess, and J.R. gladly accepted.
Pam told Cliff that she was pulling out of Barnes-Wentworth because she never had anything to do, and that included being his banker (didn't she do that last week?). Cliff asked her what she wanted. She said she wanted 25% of Barnes-Wentworth, and in return, she would finally do some real work--she would give Cliff money. This sounded fine with Cliff, and once again, Pam holds onto her title as the only woman in the world who earns millions of dollars by doing absolutely nothing.
Wes was tearing the Ewings apart, with J.R. and Bobby threatening to move out if Wes moved in. Miss Ellie went to Clayton and asked him to move back to Southfork, but he said he couldn't, and she needed to learn to get on with her life, like everyone else has. Ellie met with Wes, who took her on a romantic carriage ride through Dallas, which ended in a very passionate kiss...
