J.R. offered mucho moolah to Ozwald Valentine in exchange for his lingerie company, but he wouldn't budge, nor would he reveal who was really in charge of the operation.
J.R., Bobby, and Harve Smithfield met with Wes. As his first test, Wes agreed to a complete medical examination, the results of which would be compared with Jock's medical records. Wes gladly accepted. J.R. has also sicked his detective on him, who is investigating his recent tenure in Colorado.
April (who has quickly become my favorite current female character after only three episodes) met with Cliff in his office to discuss selling her 5% in Ewing Oil. She told him that business was done best between friends. Good friends by the looks of it, for Jamie walked in and found the two becoming acquainted with each other's tonsils, and then moved out of Cliff's apartment.
The big event of the episode, though, was Bobby and Pam's wedding, a true silly hat festival (Angelica would've been right at home; too bad she never existed). Ray (who has long since been my least favorite male character) got sufficiently drunk and managed to drive away Donna again. Wes also attended, infuriating Miss Ellie (clad in a floral sack dress), who promptly told him to take a hike. He agreed, but only if she promised to meet him in private. She reluctantly accepted. Cliff was also present, with April on his arm, and she introduced herself to the principal characters so she truly be ingratiated in the action. Before the ceremony, Bobby and Pam got dressed (with Pam clad in a very dowdy wedding dress, a cross between Stevie Nicks's and Miss Ellie's wardrobes). As Pam and Jamie were walking by Bobby's room, the drunken, stupid half-breed (that's Ray) blurted out the fact that Jenna was pregnant for all to hear.
