STEP 1: THE COVER UP-If you're using foundation and concelar, chose a concelar that's a shade lighter than your skin. Using concelar alone? Match it to your complextion. Apply concelar only wear you need it, usually around your nostrils, under your eyes and on pimples. Then blend it using a stiff brush (try a lipbrush) or your fingers.

STEP 2: BASE BASICS-For the right foundation, match it to the color of the "v" of your neck. Apply it with a sponge, working from the center of your face outward, and blend well. Dab very lightly over any coverup, or you'll remove it. If necessary, reapply coverup over base. Put foundation over your eyelids too-this acts as a base for shadow.

STEP 3: Putting on Powder-A puff sets foundation best; a brush gives a dewier look but has less staying power. When using a puff, don't drag it over your skin (you'll wipe off your foundation). Apply powder with a puff using a rolling motion. If you decide to use a brush, dip it in the powder, tap off any excess, then brush on.

CHEEKS: For a fresh, healthy glow, like you just ran around the block, try a natural pink-colored blush (like Almay's Woopee Blush) applied just on the apple of the cheeks.

LIPS: A neutral mauve lipstick looks great with red hair because it won't clash with tresses. In general, redheads should avoid strong opaque reds and pinks and instead choose stains, sheer formulas or iridescent versions of their favorite colors.

EYES: Red hair and brows create so much beautiful color, I would pick one neutral brown shade for your eyelids (like Almay Amazing Lasting Powder Shadow in Tawny) and apply it from lashline to browbone. The same color can be used to line the upper lashline, from corner to corner, and the lower lashline, from the outside corner to the center. A dark brown mascara (black looks too obvious on red lashes) should be used only on top lashes.
