James Street, age 13, died tragically (and ironically) in a skateboarding accident in California.

District 13 honors Street: A memorial fund has been started for Conejo Valley Little League Junior Division all-star James David Street.

Donations may sent to the James David Street Memorial Fund, care of California Oaks State Bank, P.O. Box 5038, Thousand Oaks, CA, 91359-9873.

Street, 13, known as the "Blonde Bomber," died tragically on July 4 from a skateboarding accident in Thousand Oaks. Last summer, he hit three home runs in a District 13 all-star game against Moorpark.

Street was an honor student.
