2000 BOYS RACE RESULTS
NEW PHILA 17 RIVER VIEW 44 in 2000
Todd Morell breezed to a 18:30 first place finish.
Matt Klein was 2nd, Scott Rippeth 3rd, Eric Weisgarber 4th, Matt Hizer 7th, Sean Zion 8th. Steve Gardner 9th John McCarron 11th John Leahy 12th
Other Quaker runners involved in the race were Mitch Valentine 13th and Mike See 14th. Next stop is Newcomerstown. Lets better our last year effort!
NEW PHILA PLACES A DISAPPOINTING 5TH AT THE NEWCOMERSTOWN INVITE. OF 6 TEAMS in 2000
Todd Morell lead the Quaker runners in the Division I race and ran a time of 16:43 placing 3rd on the course. He was followed by Scott Rippeth 10th, Eric Weisgarber 21st, Sean Zion 24th & Steve Gardner 29th. Other Quakers participating & earning letter points were , Matt Hizer, Travis Roth,and Mike See.
NEW PHILA 15 CAMBRIDGE 50 IN 2000
Todd Morell raced to an 18:03 1st place time folowed by Scott Rippeth 2nd, Matt Klein 3rd, Sean Zion 4th, Eric Weisgarber 5th, Matt Hizer 6th, Steve Gardner 7th, Mike See 8th, John Leahy 9th all earned letter points as they all defeated the entire bobcat team.
NEW PHILA 7TH IN ELITE GOLD RACE AT WALSH JESUIT TOMAHAWK RUN OF 12 TEAMS.in 2000
Todd Morell placed 5th in the strong field. Todd ran 17:33.
Following Todd were Scott Rippeth 28th, Matt Klein 30th, Eric Weisgarber 40th & Sean Zion 49th. Matt Hizer 63rd, Steve Gardner 64th
In the FRESHMAN RACE New Phila placed 4th out of 6 Schools. John Leahy led our runners placing 4th. He was followed in the scoring by John McCarron 11th, J. D. Roll 34th.
all were to figure into the scoring.
NEW PHILA 1ST PLACE AT BROOKE INVITE OF 12 TEAMS IN 2000
TODD MORELL placed 5th. Todd ran 17:36.
Following Todd were Matt Klein 7th, Scott Rippeth 10th, Eric Weisgarber 13th, Sean Zion 14 th, Steve Gardner 15th & Matt Hizer 28th.
B Team Runners were: Mike See 32nd, Travis Roth 49th, John McCarron 57th Mitch Valentine 62nd, Brandon Moffett 72nd and J D Roll 94th. There were 98 runners that finished the race.
THE BOYS VICTORY COUPLED WITH THE GIRLS RUNNER-UP POSITION WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE QUAKERS TO TAKE HOME THE BEST SCHOOL TROPHY!

TODD MORELL places 1st in a time of 17:46. Matt Klein places 4th at 18:04, Scott Rippeth was 11th, Eric Weisgarber 12th, Sean Zion 15th, and Matt Hizer was 20th to complete our award winners. Steve Gardner completed our team scoring placing 21st.

Todd Morell ran 17:23 to place 2nd.
Matt Klein was 3rd, Scott Rippeth 5th, Sean Zion 8th, Eric Weisgarber 15th, Matt Hizer 18th & Steve Gardner 19th rounded out our scoring.

TODD MORELL ran injured & led our team placing 6th of the 54 runners in the race running 17:35. Matt Klein finished 8th, Scott Rippeth was 10th, Eric Weisgarber 16th, Sean Zion 17th, Steve Gardner 18th & Matt Hizer was 23rd.
MIKE SEE placed 2nd in the OPEN RACE of 36 runners. Travis Roth was 6th, John Leahy 9th, Mitch Valentine 11th, John McCarron 14th, Brandon Moffett 19th.
NEW PHILA 1st at E.C.O.L. MEET OUT OF 6 TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE for 2000
Todd Morell led our runners with a 2nd place time of 17:13. Joining him with First Team League Honors were Matt Klein 4th and Scott Rippeth 6th. Second Team Honors went to Mike See in 12th.
Eric Weisgarber was 16th, Steve Gardner was 20th and Sean Zion was 21st
In the Open Race Travis Roth placed 2nd, Matt Hizer 3rd, John Leahy 5th, Mitch Valentine 6th John McCarron 7th Brandon Moffett 8th.

2000 EAST/SOUTHEAST DISTRICT BOYS RESULTS - Warren 36 - Dover - 64 - Marietta - 94 - NEW PHILA - 96 - East Liverpool - 119 - Athens - 171 - Tri-Valley - 184 - Chillicothe - 221 - Logan - 240 - River View - 282 - Zanesville - 286 -Miami Trace - DNS - combined with Southeast District Teams - (the top 4 of the 12 qualify to Regionals)
QUAKERS QUALIFY to Regionals with 4th place finish.

QUAKERS 13th at REGIONALS - TODD MORELL placed 10th in a time of 16:44 to lead our runners and Qualify to the State Championships in 2000. Completing our team were Matt Klein 30th, Scott Rippeth 62nd, Steve Gardner 98th, Eric Weisgarber 102, & Mike See 108th. There were 118 total runners in the race
