Daddy's little girl, so precious in my
sight.
Seems no matter what you do, daddy
thinks it's
right.
You make daddy so proud, so all I have I
give to
you.
Because there was a time when I didn't
know my
purpose in life, but I know now that I
live through
you.
I love you little girl, you've made
daddy so very
happy.
Even the times when you run around,
point your finger, and laugh at me.
But daddy doesn't mind, not even when
you cry.
Or throw your biggest fit, no I won't
quit, I'll love you by and by.
So bring all your worries to me, and put
them on
daddy's shoulder.
Let me deal with them for now, and I'll
teach you how when you're older.
And I understand that sometimes you want
to do it alone,
and that fact is duly noted.
But I have to raise you the best I can,
and to that I am devoted.
For you are my wish upon that falling
star in the
sky.
You're the light of my life, and the
twinkle in my
eye.
Daddy will always be here, I promise to
never leave
you.
Even when you don't tell me the truth,
daddy will find
a way to believe you.
Because daddy understands that sometimes
you're going
to be bad.
BUT MIND YOUR MANNERS LITTLE GIRL! And
daddy won't
get mad.
I'll teach you everything I know my
little girl, especially how to be
strong.
I'll show you good from bad, and I'll
tell you right
from wrong.
But you must learn to be patient, you
have to be
able to wait.
And don't be mad when I make you wait
until you're 35
to go on your first date.
That's just how daddy's are my little
girl, and right
now you're to young to know.
But I promise to take as much time as I
need to teach
you....As I watch you grow.
