Hey there Lush fans! Rosey here reporting some good news for those of you who never got to meet/see Lush
or you have and you want to again! Phil is touring with Jesus and Mary Chain in the USA here are some dates:
July:
13th: Baltimore - Bohager's.
14th: Washington DC - 9:30 Club.
15th: New York - Irving Plaza - Intel festival.
Hope some of these dates are close to YOUR home!!
Lush split is official. However Phil is touring with Jesus and Marychain and Emma is in with Sing Sing. Miki is apparently doing
nothing.Old tourdates for Jesus and Marychain will be up shortly.

Sing Sing is Emma's new band, comprised of three females...or it was when i last spoke to her about it. When i
last spoke to Miki she said she wasnt doing anything.

Well, Mrs. Lush here is some news that will surely leave your blood
cold, as it did mine.I called up Rodney Bingenheimer from the "Rodney
on the Roq" Britpop show on KROQ and asked him if he had any new news
about Lush.Much to my utter shock and horror, he told me
that LUSH HAS BROKEN UP FOR SURE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! He said that after Chris's death Miki,Emma, and Phil had made some
attempts to go on and even tried to record stuff in a studio.Their grief
was too much for them and they broke up because they could never be the
same again. I could not believe this because I had heard that before his
suicide, Chris had actually been planning to leave Lush and they were
already looking for a new drummer.I told this to Rodney but he is sure
that Lush is broken up.This is something to take seriously too because
Rodney knows about everything going on in England and has connections
over there to get all the news.Still, I am trying to believe Lush will
make it.I have the feeling that Rodey may be a few cards short of a full
deck and he may not know what he's talking about.. Anyways, if this news
does not break your heart, spread the word.
Oh wow this is very exciting!! Miki (yes the Miki Berenyi we all love)
had a little baby girl who is named Sara!
On to more disappointing news... Phil King has left to join Jesus & Mary Chain
and Lush is a duo... hm mabey Miki and Emma should just get some really short
skirts and join the Spice Girls!! *heehee*
Attention American Lush fans!
PBS is rebroadcasting the On tour with Lush in it this week! On my station the air time is Saturday at 1:00 a.m. (Or
rather, Sunday at 1.) They didn't play it the first time around here but I'm going to tape it for sure this time.
That was false news. Please do NOT Email me asking about tour dates. I know as much as all you do. I am pretty sick of it. Im not trying to be a bitch but you would be sick of it too
Emma Anderson E-mailed Phil from Phil's Lush Page saying that Lush played some
dates in Tokyo. Hopefully, they will play the UK and the US. Lets keep our
fingers crossed! I also have been asking people who work in record stores, work
at radio stations or just my friends if they have any Lush news and they all have the same answer:
they have heard nothing about them since Chris Acland died. If you know
any news whatsoever please feel free to Email me. Thank you.
New News!!
Okay, first of all, I was trying to buy my new Oasis CD today and while
I was waiting for it, I asked the record store guy if he knew what was goin'
on with Lush. He said they were in the studio (!) and that he had met them.
He said Miki and Emma are very cute (dont we all know that already?!) and sweet
and that he got all of Lush's autographs (even Chris) but he sold them for
£70:-(
Other news!
Lush came out with an album in Canada kalled Topolino. I really really
want it but I'm not in Canada so it would be pretty damn hard to get it :(

Okay,I've heard many differnt things and among them are: Miki is signing for another
band and Emma is playing for another band Phil is leaving the muzik business
all together and they havent got a new drummer...lets just wait to see what happens.
